These are perfect for pur hermit crab tank. Not sure they have climbed up yet, but they are more active at night. They add a nice look, and are very sturdy. My only complaint is the suction cups. They won't hold this up with any sort of pulling. I purchased some cups with a hook, and those does a better job. All in all very happy! ... show more

    • Overall a great option for an aquarium.
I love this for my betta. I have a ten gallon tank. I wanted to have gravel and a type of bed for my betta to lay on. I cut the square into 4 long rectangles and put one on each side of the tank. It looks great and its soft enough for my fish. I did have one issue and that's the suction cups. The suction is not the issue but rather how they hook on to plant. Its just too lose and not very secure. That's is due to the suction clan being too but to the think plastic it hangs on to. I did struggle with constantly getting undone while installing, but it is very possible. Once I added gravel to it and spread it evenly , it was embedded in place and the end product is definitely worth all the effort. If you use a siphon or a gravel vacuum ( which I have used Both). If your not careful you make accidentally dig it up when your trying into get everything clean. If you take it out to wash it, its sturdy and the leaves won't fall off like other plastic plants. ... show more

The greenery squares fit perfectly in my hermit crab tank, but I had to buy different suction cups (the ones with tie wraps) in order to make it secure. The suction cups that come with it have openings (claw like), so they slip off with even the slightest movement. I also added some artificial flower buds (also purchased separately) to give it some pops of color. Overall made a good backdrop for my hermie, and he likes climbing the leaves. Ps. Bought this for my sons 10 gallon hermit crab tank as a climbing wall. It fits perfectly on the short wall of the tank and looks great! suction cups aren’t super strong but work well enough to hold it up.

Panel was very warped. The suction cups do NOT hold the panel no matter what you do. I had to attach the greenery panel (using zip ties) to a piece of aquarium divider "egg crate" grid to stabilize it. The panel had a few bare spots, so I really didn't get 9"x9" worth of greenery. The items i received were all brand new each in separate box. They are a great small plants to have if you want some kind of ground cover in a tank other then just rocks. I like how the leaves are small and round great for snails. They might be hard to clean but if you have live snails in your tank they should say clean. Every one come with 4 or more suction cups and they do hook together if you want them to. You can use rocks to bury them so it looks natural! I have bought 2 of the 9" x 9" mats and am considering a third. They may not be so great at attaching to the bottom of the aquarium but they do a great job floating on the surface and providing a place for shrimp to hide. I have been working for 2-3 months on getting a shrimp colony established in my 20 (long) - where there is a big in tank filter and 8 cories on the prowl. Today I am seeing a crop of juveniles that were hiding in a mat I was taking out for cleaning. Yay! The colony is growing - thanks to these mats. Just put in a mat (or piece of mat) with an Indian almond leaf on top and they will be happy. ... show more

I got this to put in my turtle aquarium and for 2 days my turtle did not come out from his hiding place. The plastic smell on these leaves is very overpowering so I imagine it’s worse for animals. It was also a bit too thick for my small turtle.
