They are as described but are indeed quite small. Shown in a 5 gallon tank with small plants. No weird smells or huge tannin leeching. Great for nano sized setups. I’ll be redoing mine intertwined with these and some rocks to better scale this tank. Some float even after boiling but to be expected with knotty woods.

These are small, was understood when ordered. These will make excellent accent pieces for my son's 5-gallon tank. Update: Added photo to show how the pieces were used in conjunction with Dragon Stone to add depth and the illusion of roots coming through the rocks. All-in-all very happy with my purchase, and my son was supper excited about how his tank looks.

It actually came with more than expected. The pieces are *incredibly* tiny, maybe 2" x 2", smaller than I had anticipated. They look beautiful in the tank, and we're perfect for making those tiny "bonsai" decorations. Though each piece is pretty small, this is an absolute steal for this price! Definitely would recommend for any small tank.

They where bigger then I thought they where gonna be, they have different flavors because my one pleco don't like one of them but my other pleco did, they where different kinds of drift wood.

I am reviewing the Vmiapxo 8 Pack Natural Driftwood for Aquarium, Aquarium Decor Spider Wood, 4"-6" pack of 8. I purchased these in July 2022 for my 37 gallon and 20 gallon tropical freshwater aquariums to tie down some plants. These pieces of Spider wood are exactly as described. They all measure at least 4"-6" and work beautifully in smaller aquariums. Granted, these would look silly in my 75 gallon aquarium, but I didn't plan to use them there. I really like that these pieces of wood have so many "legs", it really gives each piece some character. Also, the many nooks and crannies made tying my plants to them with fishing line much easier than trying to tie the plants to rocks. I did soak them for several days to leach out some of the tannins, then boiled them for about an hour or so to kill off any potential contaminants. Some of the wood has grown a thin coat of algae, but so has my glass and the artificial plants. I simply wipe it off as needed when I clean my aquariums. If you have a smaller aquarium and want a few pieces of wood to add character or secure plants, I would recommend these. The price is good. When I purchased them, I paid $15.83 and as of the time of this review 02/21/2023, they are selling for $16.95. Given the current rates of inflation, I would say an increase of $1.12 isn't bad. I added pictures with measurements, as well as pictures of the pieces in my aquariums. I have the Spider wood in with my Peacock Cichlids. They like to rearrange their tanks, so this helps keep the plants from getting destroyed. I hope this review helps and happy shopping.
