Size: 3.15"- 4"
Just as listed, received 8 pieces and they actually were decent quality I boiled them for several hours before adding them to my 5 and 20 gallons perfect for anchoring plants to I didn’t want all the tannins boiled out because they are beneficial for my betta so only did about 3 hours then soaked overnight to make them sink easily and only had small amounts of breakage from tiny roots ... show more

  • Very nice
Size: 4"- 6"
Good little pieces of wood. Very decorative. You will need to let them sit in water for awhile before they will sink.

  • Real wood
Size: 4"- 6"
I got what i ordered. They were really small pieces. Started to mold when exposed to any moisture. Would not purchase again due to moisture intolerance

  • Price for what you get is exceptional
Size: 4"- 6"
Price for what you get is exceptional. These are fairly small. Perfect for a 5-10 gallon, or a nano tank setup. Hopefully the photo gives a good feeling on the size. The pcs. came together in a bag, packed well, and showed zero signs of lost or broken limbs. For this price point, and keeping in mind they are for a small tank, my experience was fantastic. I know in the specialty store I would have been forced to pay at least 4 dollars for one of these pcs. Seriously, it's worth the risk of losing your 8 bucks to spin the wheel and order these. The pcs. do float and need to be soaked so plan ahead. Nice color tone as well. ... show more

  • There are exactly as described and great for tying down plants in smaller aquariams
Size: 4"- 6"
I am reviewing the Vmiapxo 8 Pack Natural Driftwood for Aquarium, Aquarium Decor Spider Wood, 4"-6" pack of 8. I purchased these in July 2022 for my 37 gallon and 20 gallon tropical freshwater aquariums to tie down some plants. These pieces of Spider wood are exactly as described. They all measure at least 4"-6" and work beautifully in smaller aquariums. Granted, these would look silly in my 75 gallon aquarium, but I didn't plan to use them there. I really like that these pieces of wood have so many "legs", it really gives each piece some character. Also, the many nooks and crannies made tying my plants to them with fishing line much easier than trying to tie the plants to rocks. I did soak them for several days to leach out some of the tannins, then boiled them for about an hour or so to kill off any potential contaminants. Some of the wood has grown a thin coat of algae, but so has my glass and the artificial plants. I simply wipe it off as needed when I clean my aquariums. If you have a smaller aquarium and want a few pieces of wood to add character or secure plants, I would recommend these. The price is good. When I purchased them, I paid $15.83 and as of the time of this review 02/21/2023, they are selling for $16.95. Given the current rates of inflation, I would say an increase of $1.12 isn't bad. I added pictures with measurements, as well as pictures of the pieces in my aquariums. I have the Spider wood in with my Peacock Cichlids. They like to rearrange their tanks, so this helps keep the plants from getting destroyed. I hope this review helps and happy shopping. ... show more

  • Live grubs inside wood eating out the center of wood
Size: 3.15"- 4"
Wood came with live grubs inside it eating the center out! When the package arrived, it was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped up and I noticed an excessive amount of wood dust inside the package. Upon opening it I noticed holes throughout the wood. I washed it off hoping that whatever was eating it was long gone but after closer inspection I broke off a thin piece of the outer bark where the center was packed with that dust substance and found a very live white grub inside. I found 2. Both pieces in the package were being eaten away and had live insects inside. ... show more
