How to work with TC plants. 1. Remove plants from packaging. 2. Rinse and wash the gel under clean water. 3. Divide into small portion. 4. Plant directly onto your substrate. You may use tweezers to make the process easier as they are small and delicate plants. Product came to me on time-ish and bright green. The gelatin that comes with the product comes off easy. Make sure to have pleanty of light. If you have a deep tank double the light or it will not grow and spread. I highly suggest this seller. I did not find a single snail egg nor did I get any unwanted guests in my tank. The dish is pretty small but the quality is great. With the grass I would definitely set up the tank will small clumps about as thick as a small straw. Use long tweezers or something similar to make sure to really get it deep into the substrate. Trim the tips so the plant wastes less energy and starts to root faster. I use a thick substrate and lock it in with a sand mixture. This was day 3 but don’t be worried when the plants start shrinking a bit that’s normal. Also if you have a ton of nibblers in your tank try a breader’s net over top for 20 days or so it will give them time to root. Plecos Love to root around the base of the plants which can uproot them and make them float. ... show more

Feb 7, 2018 The plant arrived on February 2nd and the predicted date was February 6th. The plant arrived healthy, with no brown parts at all. The plant also had a significant root system. I accidentally uprooted one yesterday, and it had already grown some roots. I only gave 3 stars because I received a small amount compared to what the pictures advertised, see the pictures I included. I had enough plant to plant my tank; however, I do wish that I had received a larger amount as I was hoping to create a tub so I could grow more for future projects. I plan on updating this review as time goes on, I'm mostly looking for plant melt. The plant was grown out of the water, so occasionally plants like this can have a significant amount of melt. I will also update the star count if I get contacted by Greenpro (which they have contacted me every time I left a poor review in the past and they have fixed the problem). I will not leave a bad review if I kill the plant, as that is my fault. February 13th 2018 UPDATE: Greenpro immediately sent me a second, full and healthy cup upon hearing that I was disappointed. I am upping the star count to 5 stars as I am extremely pleased once again. Greenpro has my loyalty. ... show more

I planted this the day after I received it. It was beautiful in the culture cup and still beautiful in my tank. I really like it a lot. If I have to critique anything, it would be that it was pretty small and tightly wound, so getting it separated was a bit of chore. Although I have bad arthritis so that may have been the problem. Just to clarify, I don’t mean the quantity was small, I meant the grass was short, which is what I would expect it to be. The quantity was plentiful. ... show more

Purchased 2 cups of this Dwarf Hairgrass to start a carpet in my new Fluval Spec V. The delivery came 3 days earlier than expected, and the plants were fresh and green. I do only live about an hour away from the shipping location, but there are countless reviews on Greenpro you can find stating the same experience: fast shipping and healthy plants. I also ordered an Anubias Nana as well, which came at the same time in great condition. I was given two, although I only ordered one. Plants are super healthy, with no melting or discoloration at all. Packaged well, with insulation and instructions. Excellent plant! These idiots seem to appreciate it, and if they're happy, then I'm happy! The plant came packaged nicely with a thermal protective insert and a neat cup. Arrived very green and healthy! The gel was easily rinsed, and the blades separated nicely into little bundles that were easy to plug into my substrate with a pair of tweezers. Hoping this carpets out nicely once everything settles down and gets comfortable! A lot of stringy "runners" in the cup though, not a lot of solid bunches, so that was a bit of a hassle getting separated and I ended up just tossing them, but everything else I'm very happy with and will be ordering again when I set up my 20 long shrimp-only tank :) ... show more

Arrived very healthy with a great root system. It was quite a bit less than I expected. The cups are usually pretty full, but I received about 1/4 of the cup this time. Very green and pretty though. I hope it takes off as I needed a bit more for the area I’m doing...

I am so impressed with this product! I decided to take the plunge and try my hand at a planted aquarium. I ordered 3 tissue cups and it was the prefect amount to cover my 55 gal. I got a tad impatient and ordered them sooner than I planned and I kicked my self afterwards.... (Montana weather. No sooner than I clicked "order" we were put in a winter weather warning for a week! Ugh) I was sure most of it would arrive frozen, but that wasn't the case! They arrived on a 4*F day with not a single speck of brown! Very well packaged! If anything goes wrong with the grass in my tank it's 100% guaranteed to be my fault! Hahaha! I'll try to remember to update in a month or so with the growth progress.
