    • Really great driftwood for the price, but get sandpaper
I normally go to my local reptile rescue for driftwood because they have really great prices, but it’s quite a drive and my work schedule has been pretty crazy, so I ordered this. I got 3 pieces with varying sizes from about 8-14”. So, the seller’s promises are true. The only reason I’m not leaving 5 stars is because I got this for a spadefoot toad enclosure, so I had to sand off a LOT of sharp edges on the knots in the wood. So, if you’re getting this for any kind of soft-skinned amphibian like a frog/toad/salamander or an aquarium, make sure to pick up some sandpaper—I was able to fix the sharp edges in about 2 minutes with 180 grit sandpaper that I had leftover from another project. Otherwise, I’d say this is a great value, and I was really impressed with how much driftwood I got for the price. ... show more

I did read the size in the description. I got an order of 2 to glue pieces together to make a pretty piece for my 37 gallon. There was breakage and pieces poking out of initial bag. However the main parts were intact. It’ll work for my needs. I just wish it was a little bigger. Most pieces are one main clump of pretty wood and a few short outreaches. Beautiful to look at. When I first opened the package there was one piece that I was a little hesitant about. that I thought I might not like. it does look a little plain but it works really well with the other two pieces. One of the pieces I'm absolutely in love with. I did boil it with almond leaves to darken up the wood and it looks fabulous. 2 out of 3 pieces were pretty good. One was okay but I ended up not using it. I did glue two pieces together to give it a interesting structure. Overall satisfied. I did not boil or treat the wood and did observe while slime (fungi) after few days. This happens with all the drift wood even if you boil them. Not worried though it will go away after few months. ... show more

Packaged securely, none came damaged. One large piece I got was beautiful and that blew me away enough to be satisfied with my purchase. The other two smaller pieces weren’t bad either. They were super clean to come, but of course I boiled them to be safe. Couldn’t recommend enough. Zero mold or anything. I just put them in my tank today. I boiled them for over an hour and placed them into my aquarium. A few days later they were completely covered in this white fuzzy film. I had to remove them out of fear for my fish. I ended up boiling them again and placing them in a terrarium with my gecko and they work for that but it was not the intended purpose. ... show more

I will admit I rarely write an Amazon review. For this product I felt the need to. I’ve been looking at pieces like this for my tank build. I get that these are 3 random pieces but for the price you can’t beat it. I saw multiple reviews of people saying they got a 3 sticks. I rolled the dice and received three impressive pieces.
