Reviewers praise these plants from Greenpro on various aspects, including fast and well-protected shipping and healthy plants on arrival. However, some people have expressed disappointment with the ability of the plant to thrive once placed into their own environments, and smaller size than expected. There are mentions of problems faced by first-time live plant buyers and suggestions of doing own research on aquatic plants.

Should I Buy It?

  • Arrived well protected
My purchased was done in January, I realized I should’ve been concern about the winter temps and how the anubia will make it, luckily they protected it well and it arrived in good condition although and surprisingly, they delivered it in my mailbox and not at my porch as I expected it. I proceeded to quarantine the plant as recommended before going to my Betta aquarium, forwarding to today and all this time, the anubia has not done well at all, I did all I could and had in my power to make it thrive but it has been exhausting, even more than keeping the little fish fella happy, I’ve been more concerned about the plant and it’s environment but all has been useless. It’s falling apart, it’s not holding well and it color has faded, as for it looks like they do well with Java ferns, the java is thriving and expanding meanwhile nothing positive to say about this one. I’m very disappointed and sad, I’m very good with plants but until now I realize there’s is something wrong and trying to blame myself or the company wont make it come back. However, I don’t think I’ll buy from this seller anymore. ... show more

  • HUGE MISTAKE to purchase live plants online if you’re a first-timer
I’m a first-time grower and felt that I made a HUGE mistake in purchasing a live plant online. The first picture shows you one of the two plants I received and this one had two leaves. No matter how hard I tried to get rid of the rock wool on this one, it just was too stubborn and refused to come out. The second picture is a few days after I planted them into my tank. As you can see, the leaves started “melting” and eventually would fall off. The third picture is of the two plants about a week or so after I made the purchase. As you can see, the rock wool is still there and I still could not remove it entirely. Anyway, I did research on my own to figure out how to make the leaves grow and played around with it, realising very quickly that the plant was turning brown and mushy and would eventually die after rotting for a few days in my tank. I reached out to Amazon because I was unable to contact the seller directly. I asked for either a replacement product or a refund and got a refund. If you’re a first time live aquatic plant buyer/grower, I highly suggest NOT purchasing online. The instructions on how to grow the specific plant species is not given on the pamphlets you receive with your purchase. I had to do a lot of research on my own but it was too late by the time I realised this. I read that Anubias Nanas are hardy plants but this one wasn’t, to my disappointment. ... show more

  • Beautiful, green and lively.
I bought Jungle Val from Green Pro as well with this order, and I believe that one came with snails, I can't tell which had them but I did find one in my tank after putting them in. As I explained in my review for that plant, it's a huge horror for me after going through a entire cleaning and replacing everything I had in there, also had to throw out all my beautiful plants because the infestation was so bad. I hope this doesn't happen again, I do have three assassin snails so I pray they will take any lurkers out before they spread!! I really do love Green Pro, and will continue to buy from them. ... show more

  • 3 Days Earlier than Expected, Very Healthy, Extremely Satisfied.
Extremely satisfied with my first experience with Greenpro (first time buying live aquarium plants online, too). My plants came 3 days earlier than expected, even with the recent worldwide shipping delays due to Coronavirus. I do live about an hour or two from the shipping origin location, but many others have had similar experiences with very fast shipping. Plants were super, super healthy, with no melting or discoloration, which is no surprise from Greenpro. I actually only ordered one Anubias Nana, and was given two separate plants in my order, so that was cool. The other plants in my order came healthy and green as well. Packing was very nice. My Anubias came in a plastic bag with moisture inside, sitting in a pot with some fertilizing pellets. Shipping box had an insulation layer, and plants came with a nice instruction sheet. Highly recommend buying from Greenpro. Fast shipping, healthy plants. Will be buying more from them in the future. ... show more
