Bought these for my friend and she loves them. Only one species didn't look so great - but the company has been very helpful to her. All the others are great!!

  • As described
Number of Items: 10
I received all ten plant. I've ordered online from various places and I have to say that these are some of the biggest plans for the price I've ever received. They are healthy but there is breakage on some of the single thin stem plants. I would definitely order from this seller again as long as the price stays reasonable. ... show more

  • Decent small set of plants at a good price but you will get pond SNAILS!
Number of Items: 10
Plants came and looked healthy enough. I think I remember counting 9 or10 varieties. Some are rooted, some are weighted stem cultures. The plants are all bagged together, no labels, no instructions as to which plant goes where or final heights of growth so you have to do a bit of work to identify and determine which plants are appropriate for fore, mid and background plantings. I planted a 60 gallon tank with this pack, a bit sparse but thinking val and swords fill up a good deal of space when grown out, just standard inert colored gravel, Seachem liquid ferts and root tabs, no CO2, but I did invest in a Planted+ 24 LED light. First week to about week 4 the stem plants melted back quite a bit and the rooted/rhizome plants started loosing some leaves but... new growth also started popping up. New leaves and roots, as well as some runners from the val and adventitious sprouts from the java fern, and true underwater color forms started to show. It was also apparent at around this time that I had hitchhikers, pond snail eggs... a lot of them... I'm pulling out a dozen or so tiny ones a day. I'm pretty sure these plants were advertised as snail free somewhere but at this point, the damage is done. I will be fighting these pests as well as I can but I've got fish and shrimp that are sensitive to any poisons so its down to mechanical removal. Summery, decent plants, good variety, they will melt a bit before growing but they are viable. Down side is you have to research what they are and where to grow and YOU WILL HAVE TO TREAT THESE PLANTS FOR SNAILS BEFORE YOU PLANT OR SUFFER THE ENDLESS SNAIL HORDE! Buyer beware. ... show more

  • Healthiest online plants I’ve ordered
Number of Items: 10
Not only did the plants get to me a week early, but they arrived in pristine condition! The 2 stem plants were the only ones that were a little wilted but only cause they don’t come with roots. Everything was well wrapped and organized, and I’m happy with how well the are thriving! Very green healthy and beautiful!! ... show more

  • The slimy seller is not the only slime you will get
Number of Items: 10
So I waited to review this since I ordered them twice. The first time they never showed up so amazon refunded them. So I thought post office loses stuff. Ugh. So I waited a few months until holiday season was over and placed a new order to try again. I can’t say it went better. So normally when you order aquarium plants you expect to get something close to the picture that’s advertised. Now I’m not saying it has to be exact but close is best. This is not what I got. What I got was a clump of what I can only describe as moss and onion plants with a mess of death plants and brown black slime. I saw these pictures and I said. I love the colors how nice for my tanks (I have 6) and if they work out I’ll order more for the other tanks. It didn’t work. I can’t say I found any snails or shells but the black slime probably ate them if they were in there. I tried to save them and cleaned them with fresh water and the only thing that was alive was this moss stuff. Which is not pictured anywhere. Wtf!! Well the clump of moss stuff is a tangled mess it’s like trying to untangle a group of furry caterpillars tangled in an orgy. Needless to say I was not putting that junk anywhere near my tanks. So I have a clump or furry moss, 6 or so black brown dead leaves, a disgusting amount of slime. And a clip of an onion plant with no roots. I contacted amazon and let them know and they ended up refunding my whole order. On a positive note petsmart came through and had some purple plants for now so we will see. Hopefully I’ll find a seller that cares about aquatic life and their customers because unfortunately this seller does not. On a side note I pity Florida whose name is being ruined by scamming fish plant company. Not impressed guys. You could do so much better. People are suffering enough and a positive thing to look at like a colorful plant or happy fish can be the good thing in a world full of pain and sickness. I’m giving you one star but I’m only giving you one star because of Amazon’s money back guarantee which forces you to refund me. ... show more

  • More Plabts than You'll Have Space For!
Number of Items: 10
I was a tiny bit disappointed by the plants when they arrived. The package was so small, it looked like a single plant package you'd get at a pet store. Boy was I wrong though. I used this for a 50 gal river tank. It has some rocks and driftwood, but is otherwise essentially all gravel. I actually ran out of space for plants. The bag kept expanding, it was crazy. I ended up with 2 Anubias, 2 Hygrophila Polysperma, 1 Altlandsberg Sword, 1 Telanthera (Alternanthera Reineckii), 1 Melon Sword, 1 Hygrophila Araguaya, 1 Jungle Vallisneria, and 1 Java Fern. Be aware that these plants will melt back pretty significantly after adding them to your tank. This is normal. You can protect your plants by adding root tabs and high quality liquid fertilizer just before planting. They will bounce back pretty fast. The plants will mostly be green when they arrive. They need to get over their initial shock before they start turning red again. You should start to see pretty impressive color variation within 1 month. Be aware that Java does not like to be planted. You can glue them to driftwood or porous rocks using normal super glue, or an aquarium glue or epoxy. The plant will root to the hardscape, and will start expanding pretty aggressively. They will grow sprouts from their leaf tips, and you can pluck those and spread them throughout your tank. You'll have 10+ plants within 6 months. ... show more
