  • Good bang for the buck, you can add ssd later!
Style: Ryzen 1200 | GTX 1050 TI
I bought this on Amazon a week ago and here is my review Pros, 1. Very fast, very quiet machine even with only 8gb of ram. 2. The video card is good enough to play almost anything at around medium settings and many maxed if not too graphically intense. Some say lowest settings but that is simply not true, and if you upgrade your ram, that will help. 3. Easy set up 4. come with mouse and keyboard, tho the mouse is a bit light to be a true gamer mouse so i put the skytech one on my laptop and if my main mouse breaks il have a nice backup. 5. Handle screws on the back, comes on and off in a breeze. 6. Well packaged and protected! Cons 1. No one touch re format, you have to create a backup disk or backup on your flashdrive which was mildly annoying. 2. 8mb of ram isnt enough for serious gaming. 3. The motherboard is only average, to serious game, youll need to upgrade that BEFORE adding a better vid card. 4. The mouse may look the part, but its too light to be a true gaming mouse, its merely just good enough till you get a good one. 5. No ssd, yeah i know they are cheap these days, but still, to not have it is a bit of a bummer BUT......... All in all, this is an excellent bargain for the price! You got a big enough case if you want to upgrade, but short term, all it needs as a lil more ram and you're good. This baby plays great right out of the box and the rig is super quiet and it appears to be a pretty full sized tower, (almost 2 feet tall!) so if you are on a budget, this is definitely the way to go. it may need a tweek here or there, but check these reviews and questions or the customer service rep, you can usually troublshoot any problem by yourself. Excellent product id highly recommend! ... show more

  • What an Amazing Budget Gaming Rig!
Style: Ryzen 1200 | GTX 1050 TI
I waited a full six months to write this review from my initial purchase. This is probably the happiest I've been buying a computer. I initially wanted something to replace my 2013 MacBook Pro Retina, which was purchased custom for extra processing speed and RAM needed for editing Film and Video. This computer outperforms my MacBook in every Program. AdobePremiere Pro/Photoshop/Aftereffects, Davinci Resolve, Autodesk Maya, and Protools. I feel like this could be because Macs throttle performance after they heat up, which happens so frequently that I've actually toasted bread during my Animation class while waiting for my 5 seconds of drawings to render. AND IT PLAYS THE NEWEST GAMES AT NEAR HIGHEST SPECS?!? Yeah I was surprised too, but 40 steam games tell the honest tale. This thing is a powerhouse. Borderlands 3, TEKKEN7, GTFO, DOOM, WOLFENSTEIN, SKYRIM + ALL THE MODS TO MAKE MY EYES BLEED and still chug at above 30FPS. With all that said. Let me tell you some things that are small pet peeves to most people. Not me, but I am awesome. 1. It's Big. Gaming PCs are Big. Solution= GET USED TO IT. 2. The LEDS are Bright. Solution= TURN THE LEDS AWAY FROM YOUR FACE-HOLE. 3. The Fans are Loud. This is a small problem if you are Streaming games. Solution= Change out the fan to a liquid cooler. My MacBook Pro Retina 2013 was louder than this PC and a 12th the size and couldn't play games. 4. It's big and white. Solution= Get sweet Dragonball Z Decals that make your 2001 child self jealous and your current Girlfriend question her love for a weeb. In conclusion, Buy this if you like gaming. The motherboard allows you to easily upgrade your system and it's nice to look at. Buy this if you are in the Film/TV/Animation field and don't need MAX specs for 8K footage out of RED or ARRI cams. It can handle 4K pretty well actually. But part of this can be that I quit using AVID Media Composer B/C it's a cancer of Nonlinear Editing Systems and needs to Die. Buy this if you are considering Dropping $3000-$4000(USD) on a MacBook Pro. Better yet. Buy this computer and save the rest of that money and use the rest to fund time travel research to keep me from buying a $4000USD Macbook Pro Retina from 2013. • Very pleasantly surprised!
Style: Ryzen 1200 | GTX 1050 TI
I've had this tower up and running for about a week now and have to say, overall, I'm really happy with it so far. A few negative reviews did have me doubting buying a pre-built from an independent source (it was down to this or a cheaper model Predator) but I'm glad I did. Opening it up everything was clean, in tact, screwed properly into place. The parts all look reputably branded and are as described. The clear side panel does have a scratch on it but it's not cracked and sits under my desk so I'm not overly concerned. The case itself is a lot better in person than I expected - looks good, has weight to it. The light is fun. It came with a USB mouse and keyboard but I'd purchased others separately so can't speak to the quality of those yet, but they seem more than passable for free additions. There's also a disc for the motherboard, and a USB wireless connection (but I'm currently running wired so again, cannot speak to the quality of that). No Windows key included, but if I run into any problem I have hopes I can simply contact support. Performance wise it's been beautiful. There is a slight knocking sound with the fan at start up but it's barely noticeable and a red light flashes under the reset button but seems to be random and hasn't caused any issue. It takes a second for Windows to kick on but once it does it starts very smoothly and quick. I have encountered one memory management BSOD seemingly out of nowhere but it hasn't happened again (probably on Windows 10 more than anything, as all diagnostics checks didn't find any issues with the RAM itself and performance has been completely fine) and support response was prompt when I inquired about what to do if it reoccurs. For the most part I needed a better PC to play Overwatch on and since it's still early and the holidays, I haven't had time to test much else, but that game in particular runs on mostly high settings with zero problems. Gameplay is smooth, no weird hiccups or apparent overheating after hours of play, and I can have a few other applications open in the background with no problems slowing anything down or lagging. And again, the guts of this thing are placed well enough that I'm sure if you needed to expand a couple years down the line or make any replacements to keep things up to date after warranties it would work out fine. All in all it's so far, so good. For the price I actually expected it to be made up of much cheaper parts than it is, considering what most companies charge for the bare basics when you don't feel like building yourself - and they usually don't include anything else with it, either. Nor do they ship as fast as this baby did. Should anything go awry I'll update but overall I'm definitely pleased by how great it's been running. Would recommend giving it a shot if you're wary of spending hundreds more on something with the same parts but a brand name! ... show more
