Made the job of wet sanding my wheels before polishing a lot easier than doing it my hand! I also brought some cheap wet/dry sanding discs on Amazon. Sander worked for hours at a time for a few days and it held up fine. Pretty satisfied with this sander especially for the price.

Sander works fine. The speed adjustment dial is right by the base of the thumb (if you’re right handed) and can cause the rpm to change during use. If you’re using it for sanding mud on Sheetrock use a shop vac. The dust collector is useless for that, the collector is probably good for wood. Overall not unhappy with it at all. ... show more

I bought this sander because I'm building 2 mission style rocking chairs, using Red Oak. This sander was an excellent choice. The vibration and sound level is low, so it's not unpleasant to use. With coarse sandpaper, working it hard, it has plenty of power, and doesn't bog down. What really surprised me was the excellent dust collection system this sander has. I have another expensive sander that is too heavy for me, and vibrates so much my hand falls asleep. Its dust collection is almost nothing. My Skil sander cost a third of what that piece of junk cost. I have been woodworking for over 50 years and have had many tools, and this is a tool I would highly recommend. ... show more
