Don't believe the hate and tune them out. You wont hear them once this is turned up anyways. I had mine on about 1500 watts in a great box and that thing made the trunk look the ocean even with heaps of sound deadening in place. Regardless of what sub you buy the box makes the difference. I had a guy demo a nightshade 18 that honestly disappointed me. Smaller sub, smaller amp, but the box made the difference and this was louder. Set it up correctly and let efficiency do the work for you. Do it right and don't worry about brand, its a knockoff sundown anyways. Skar hate is as prevalent as it is bc hate is popular to the roaches of this world . I had it on a taramps hd3000 and it got pretty nasty in a crewcab duramax until the ground cracked (used b.s). Put it on a smart 3 and your'e done. my box was roughly 4-4.5 cubes (oversized a littlelot) and tuned around 32-34 ... show more
