Fits in my rhino under back seat box in my 2002 sierra 2500hd with no issues and bumps almost as hard as the alpine type s i had .costs a lot less and sounds great for heavy rock like ministry and metallica and for hip hop and rap it does hit the lows ,bumps hard and shakes the entire truck going to have to get another to replace the gothic .the gothic does bump.but the scar hits a lot harder .useing a MRP-M500 Alpine mono block amp and a MRP-F600 Alpine amp both running at 2 ohm with a kenwood deck KDC-BT565U and 4 alpine 6 inch 2 way door speakers and a capacitor to help power it all and sounds great just hope the new scar can hang in there for a while only time will tell.the reviews are about 50 50 and made it hard to want to try it but so far i am impressed but as with anything u buy new does not always mean good every product will have some that just dont work correctly or last as they should . ... show more

Selected a shallow sub to fit limited space in a q bomb wedge box behind the seat of a square body GMC k15. Had some reservations about it, but my goodness this sub steps up to bat and swings for the fences like any other. Paired it with a CT Sounds 1000 watt class D monoblock amp and a QBomb box. It performs WAY better than expected. Hits hard, great lows and mids. Constructed very well and fit perfectly in a tight space. I would definitely recommend this for someone wanting huge bass in a tight space. ... show more

Solid sound so far but I'm in the break in period. Little disappointed I bought these and they didn't come with screws to mount to the SKAR box I purchased. Running two of these in my Silverado with the skar hideen box. These should be good for the rock and metal I listen to.
