I assembled a home subwoofer with a passive radiator with this speaker. The frequency range turned out to be 24-120 hertz. as a home subwoofer for 5.1 Dolby Atmos acoustics it turned out almost perfectly. At low frequencies the whole house shakes. I like the speaker. However, it is a 2 ohm speaker and not a 4 ohm standard speaker. A very basic amp may have problems with increased current requirements. It's a nice speaker with an amp made to drive a sub woofer.
