  • Blazing Fast, Reliable, and Built to Last!
Capacity: 2TB
The SK hynix Platinum P41 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen4 M.2 drive has been an outstanding SSD these last few years. It has delivered exceptional performance for both casual and demanding use. Built on SK hynix’s cutting-edge 176-layer NAND technology, it stands out for its incredible read and write speeds. These speeds make it an excellent choice for gamers, content creators, and professionals who require lightning-fast data access and multitasking capabilities. One of the most impressive aspects of the Platinum P41 is its reliability. With an impressive endurance rating of 1,200 TBW (terabytes written) and a 5-year warranty, it offers peace of mind for long-term use. SK hynix’s focus on thermal management is evident, as the drive stays remarkably cool under load. The drive also excels in real-world scenarios, making it perfect for large file transfers, 4K video editing, and gaming, where reduced loading times truly shine. The inclusion of software tools like SK hynix's "Easy Kit" further enhances the user experience, offering straightforward drive management and firmware updates. Overall, it has been my experience that the Platinum P41 blends top-tier performance, durability, and value in a single package. Whether you're upgrading your gaming rig or boosting the performance of a workstation, this SSD is a worthwhile investment that won’t disappoint. So far - I've bought two of these - & I'm getting a third soon. [The 1TB version are also highly reliable - I have a few of those in some laptops.] ... show more

  • Wholly cheat!! It's fast and Cheep!!
Capacity: 1TB
It's fast, man. My PC boots from psu off to screen on it like 13-14 sec. It's got that D-ram. And its super CHEAP for a DRAM cache gen 4 SSD. Ot it was, that was s like 5-6.weeks ago. Good luck! SK Hynix is possibly the biggest memory chip manufacturer in the world. Some of the highest quality and fastest ram sticks ever produced were with SK Hynix chips. They were a commercial supplier for manufacturers, and now are selling direct to consumers. Crucial, Samsung and Hynix are the big three high quality chip brands. Its.cheaper and probably made with exact same DRAM cache as that WD or that Kingston or that Teamgroup or that Lexar... ... show more

  • Might be the perfect 2TB ssd
Capacity: 2TB
Fantastic SSD. made by the same company that makes the actual nand chips so it has to be good. Exceeds stated performance, and is cheaper than many ssds of the same capacity. I use these in my laptop, desktop, and server, and have never had any issues. Heat sink is recommended, but it is able to sustain good speeds without! Fits anywhere an NVMe M.2 should. Will buy more when chip shortages go down. The p51 is out (gen5 version) but is probably not worth it for 90% of people. ... show more

  • Good
Capacity: 500gb
Bought before the prices hiked up. Good cheap SSD. Planned on using it for the OS on a dual-NVMe build but changed my mind.

  • Amazing SSD for the price
Capacity: 1TB
Incredibly fast and great price. It’s a standard 2280 NVMe so it was easy to install. I can’t believe it has all the features the Samsung evo pro has for almost half the price. I upgraded a dying ssd with 256gb to this one with 1TB so I’ve finally got plenty of space. Very happy with it.

  • My Go-To NVMe for Gaming and Servers at Home
Capacity: 1TB
I’ve bought close to 40 of these Platinum P41 drives in both 1TB and 2TB sizes, and every single one has been rock solid. They’re fast and handle everything I throw at them – from gaming PCs to home servers (TrueNAS, ProxMox, Game Servers, etc) Installation is straightforward, and performance has been consistent across all of them. No failures, no slowdowns, just dependable storage I can trust. If you want an NVMe drive that delivers speed and reliability without any fuss, this one is an easy choice. ... show more

  • Excellent product.
Capacity: 2TB
I have two of these running on the same computer. They are extremely fast, and I mean extremely fast, like at least 5,000 gbps. I'm using one for the operating system drive and another for the game drive. No issues whatsoever. The packaging is neat, the inside plastic is apparently biodegradable, so that's great too. Admittedly, I was upset when I noticed the arbitration sticker on the box, and I considered returning it. If you don't like the laws in the country you're doing business in, then don't do business there. Ultimately I decided to keep this product because I have experience with it and I know it's good because I've used the game drive for a couple of years and it runs perfectly fine. So when I see an arbitration clause taped to the box, I get the feeling that the product is not going to be reliable and the makers are trying to dodge responsibility. This is the kind of stuff you see car dealerships do. I took off a star for that. ... show more

  • so far so good
Capacity: 2TB
This was suppose to be the company that made Samsung loose Billions of dollars in stocks due to loosing contracts to SK hynix. Decided to try them out. so far it looks ok.. nice packaging, not much faster then my old Samsung 970, but this might be due to being on a PCIe card adapter. For those adding a 2nd NVMe because your motherboard has 2, it doesnt work out this way, if you have 2 NVMe slots on your motherboard and you also have SATA drives enabled. you might not be able to use the 2nd NVMe due to shared resources. Found this out the hard way, My Board is an Asus H570 Prime. So if yours is not showing up, do what i did and buy a PCIe 16x 3 adapter card. The drive goes into the card and the card slots in like any pci does. Pic is of the testing speed between my old Samsung 970, which was the standard for SSD vs SK. GL ... show more
