  • Prep Pays Off Again
Color: Abs-gf Black
This was my first run with Siraya Tech’s ABS‑GF (glass‑fiber reinforced ABS), and I approached it the same way I did with ASA: prep first, print second. I dried the filament overnight, then spent time dialing in my slicer profile. That effort was worth it—the prints came out strong and clean. You have to print in an enclosure to make this work. Adhesion was solid using a PEI sheet with a light application of bed adhesive, and release was easy once cooled. The filament flows consistently, and with proper calibration, it produces parts with excellent dimensional accuracy. For testing, I printed structural rocket components, including couplers and centering rings. The results were impressive: the glass‑fiber reinforcement adds noticeable stiffness, making it well‑suited for load‑bearing parts in high‑power rocketry. The finish is black but not glossy, more of a matte look with a subtle texture from the fibers. I also noticed the odor during printing was less than the ASA I’ve used, which made the overall experience more pleasant. Bottom line: With proper prep, Siraya Tech ABS‑GF delivers strong, reliable prints that excel in structural applications. Great choice for hobbyists who need durability beyond PLA and PETG, especially for rocket parts. ... show more

  • Strong, Consistent, Zero Issues on P1S
Color: Abs-gf Black
Ran this ABS-GF on my Bambu Lab P1S and it’s been solid from the start. Extrudes clean with no hiccups, and prints come out consistent every time. The strength is noticeable compared to standard ABS—great for parts that actually need to hold up. Surface finish is clean, layers bond well, and I didn’t have to fight it to get good results. If you’re looking for a durable, high-quality filament that just works, this is it. ... show more

  • Great budget option
Color: Abs-gf Black
I can’t say enough good things about siraya tech’s filament. This ABS-GF has printed excellent for me with 0.4mm nozzle using the Orca Slicer profile that Siraya tech provides on their website for my Qidi plus 4. Very first prints came out perfect. I have also used their CF-PET with great results but the ABS is a more affordable option with high temperature resistance and great layer adhesion and strength. I have not yet experienced any warping or stringing or anything really. Even longer bridges and overhangs come out great as you can see from my photos printed without supports. I have left this abs-gf out in the open in my 40% humidified home for a few weeks and I have still not had issues with moisture. My PETG on the other hand would be extremely stringy by now. The ABS-GF does have a bit of ABS smell for sure but it’s not as strong as some others i’ve tried in the past. This might be my new go-to filament instead of PLA. The surface is slightly abrasive, not quite as much as the PET-CF but the parts look almost identical. I noticed more skin irritation with the PET-CF. This ABS-GF does not seem to bother my skin at all really unless i’m cutting or sanding on it. The ABS GF is still quite flexible like regular ABS but a little less, since it’s only 10% glass but that also means better layer adhesion and less abrasive surfaces. I think the flexibility is close to PLA, but the filament itself is still pretty brittle. The PET-CF is a LOT more stiff and also more brittle but INCREDIBLY strong. The CF-PET, for example, I had a thing piece of support material maybe one or two walls thick, and when trying to bend it, it was incredibly strong. When it finally broke it exploded and have my finger a little cut. I hope to see more colors come out in the future. I would love an ABS-GF in Purple. ... show more

  • Excellent ABS-GF filament
Color: Abs-gf Black
Filament arrived in good condition and sealed. I still dried it as I do ALL my filament. Printing with great results and very good finish appearance. Overhangs require slowing down and some part cooling fan. I've had no issues with bed adhesion on standard textured PEI build plates at 90°. No issues with warping in my enclosed X1C machines with the chamber temp staying around 42°-44°. Printing with a 0.4mm hardened nozzle and no clogging. No scientific testing but the finished prints seem to be very strong and durable. This is my new goto filament for ABS-GF. ... show more

  • ABS GF Prints good but not very strong.
Color: Abs-gf Black
I create firearm products using ABS-GF filament, primarily Bambu ABS-GF, due to its impressive strength and durability. In product testing, I’ve even run parts over with a car, and they show little to no compromise. Compared to PETG-CF, ABS-GF offers significantly greater strength. Before anyone attributes this to print settings or machine quality, let me clarify: my Ender 3 days are long behind me. I now operate a Bambu X1 Carbon with settings meticulously optimized for production. Additionally, I perform detailed tuning for all filaments before using them, whether for commercial or personal projects. When Bambu ABS-GF was out of stock, I tried Siraya Tech's ABS-GF filament in black as an alternative. While the print quality is comparable to Bambu's, the strength is disappointing. Parts printed with Siraya Tech filament snap with minimal effort—almost like a dry twig. In contrast, Bambu's filament takes significant force to break, often requiring a real struggle by hand. This weakness is also apparent during automated material switching (AMS), where Siraya Tech’s filament snaps whereas Bambu’s filament has never snapped. If returns were an option, I wouldn’t hesitate. For anyone seeking a filament with robust shear strength, this product isn’t for you. If the shoe were on the other foot, I would leave Bambu labs the same review. However, this stuff is very weak. I expect my prints to be both visually appealing and exceptionally strong, but unfortunately, Siraya Tech's ABS-GF fails to meet the mark. ... show more

  • Brittle as filament but extremely easy printing
Color: Abs-gf Black
I did my first prints with this filament yesterday. I first dried it for 8 hours like I do with most filaments and then it was print time. I was concerned when I broke the filament end off immediately when just trying to load the filament but after getting it loaded and the printer fired up, it printed amazingly smooth with no issue or fuss. I printed the first layer at 265/105 nozzle/bed temp and then 260/100. I did apply a little hairspray first but I am pretty sure it was unnecessary. The supports broke off perfectly even for a tiny little screw hole and the parts came off the bed with no fuss. There was no warping or stringing at all on any of the 3 prints I did, one taking 6 hours and being larger and then a tiny raspberry pi camera unit case and mount. This is now my favorite ABS filament, not just my favorite reinforced filament. ... show more

  • Good filament, a few annoyance
Color: Abs-gf Black
The filament is great, prints easy, no warping, parts came out really nice, dimensionally very accurate. however I have two issues 1. The filament is filled all the way out in the spool so it doesn't fit in the AMS, after using about 1/4 of the filament the spool gets smaller and thus can fit in the AMS. 2. Siraya provide a 3mf file with the print profile, they don't provide the print profile by itself. Like why? I have to manually load the file then delete the part then load my part. ... show more

  • Been using this for 2 years. No warping. Great finish.
Color: Abs-gf Black
Great filament. I don't know anything about the company and this is the only of their filament's I've used, but I have been using it for 2 years. I sometimes wonder if Polymaker would be better, but I don't see how, and it is 80% of the price. I've had a lot of luck with this. Zero warping with the right bed plate setup. Looks awesome. I've been able to use the AMS. It is a little brittle, even when dry. It has broken in the PTFE tube before. I've never really tested the strength, however. ... show more
