My plan was to use this for recyclables. It’s too small and a bit cheaply made for the price. I should have ordered something larger. I like the idea of the flap- but it’s more like a large waste paper basket. I would not recommend it.

With the lid on, it’s comparable in size to a 13 gallon trash can. The product photo made it look like a 13 gallon can with a lid on top of that. Works great for bottles and cans. Cardboard can sometimes be a challenge. With the lid, the recycle bin has a very clean and tidy appearance. Would buy again. ... show more
