Probably the best trash can we've had. We have an awkward space in our kitchen and this was the only thing that fit. The foot pedal mechanism broke after 2 years of use. Unfortunately, while the pedal itself is metal and the rod that lifts the lid is metal, the connection between them is made with a small plastic bracket. The bent end of the rod at the bottom inserts into a hole in this bracket. Unfortunately, it blew out the bottom of the plastic bracket and the hole is now just a half-circle. Can't find the plastic piece anywhere. The pedal now sits on the floor, but the soft-close damper still works when you lift the lid by hand. If that little bracket were metal, there would be nothing to break on this trash can and it would have lasted forever. Great product, but this is where the bean counters won against the product engineers and left us consumers literally holding the bag. ... show more

I have this trash can in Stone. I wish they would start selling that color again because I absolutely love it and would buy it until I die. I've had the garbage can for 5 years and I have a small bathroom can in the same color for a few years. I love both. It cleans well and looks nice.

This can is sleek and slim but still holds a full bag of garbage! The foot pedal makes it very simple to use and I absolutely love the look of it! I’m very pleased! It’s the same capacity as my old one but somehow takes up much less space due to its design! Win win!

This is the 4th one of these locking simple human bins I’ve purchased. They are the best for a smaller space with a locking mechanism. I did not want the auto lift because somehow my dogs would figure it out. The lock is pretty good..if your dog really wants what’s inside they could get to it.
