Works okay on my chrome shelving unit in living room - adds a little light to a dark corner. Fairly attractive. Height is correct, but I slightly miscalculated the appropriateness of the scale to the area and surrounding décor. Seems slightly too short for the area. This lamp is so cute, you fall in love with it. And it matches a large lamp and picture frame I have in that bedroom, also. Could not have found a better match. Has a nice bright light, that can be adjusted by using daylight or soft (evening) lightbulbs. Would buy it again.

love these lamps. one thing to remember they need special bulbs tea lights. it throws off a soft light. i ordered one and they sent me 2. have them on my desk with my Christmas tree also from amazon.com. i love them. price was right very classy.
