I bought this lamp a year and a half ago at this point. I was looking for something cheap for my 9 year old's computer desk, knowing it would likely be destroyed rather quickly. My son has some disabilities, one of which includes a lack of spatial awareness where he knocks everything over unintentionally. Basically, he is clinically clumsy. This lamp has been knocked over at least once a day, likely averaging more than that. Today by noon it has been knocked over 3 times. We have been convinced it was broken many times already but it keeps on chugging along. I would expect it to be easily crushed if someone were to step or sit on it, but accidental knocks off a desk have not been an issue! Just now a couple threads combining the top lightbulb area to the bottom stand area broke off, but it is still going strong! Cannot recommend this lamp highly enough if you need it to withstand accidental knock-overs on a regular basis (but not intentional damage). ... show more

I ordered this because I have been remodeling my living room area. I had a new coffee table , rug and side table and this just fit perfectly with the theme. It is small. So if you are looking for a tall lamp this isn’t the one for you but other than that no complaints. So fast to assemble as well!

Cute lil lamp perfect for a small side table or corner of furniture with the on/off switch on the cord. The shade provides a soft hue for the room. I opted for an Edison bulb. Taking off one star for two reasons 1. Packaging wasn't good the shade itself was bent and I had to mold it back 2. No cord color options white would be better with the lamp shade color the black cord stands out. Overall a good lamp that I would recommend. ... show more
