It's not pure white but works well enough with white decor. I knocked off a star because I really hate those on/off switches that are on the cords but I guess it's cheaper to make that way. The cord is very short so the switch is visible no matter what you do with it. In order to access the switch you have to leave some of the cord on the furniture so it's not very attractive. It's good enough for a guest room but I wouldn't want it in a more visible location. ... show more

This little lamp is most excellent. The light it gives off in a corner of my living room is just perfect. It is not my main lamp, just a light behind guests in a bit of a dark corner. It's pretty. It's perfect and better than I thought it would be.
