Bought it on sale for ~ $30, what a steal! If you can find it at even double the price, it's totally worth it! Installation is simple enough, the only tough part was fitting the remote receiver in the base. Instructions were clear. All the wires were long enough to make connections without having to hold the fan at a weird angle. Installing the fan blades requires you to use a weird little cut-out window in the base, which was annoying but not anymore difficult than otherwise. The remote doesn't look like the one in the picture, but works great anyway. Hardly any delay in button press response. Works fine even outside the room, which I guess could be a flaw, depending on how many of these you have. I reached out to the seller to see how to buy a backup remote and they offered to send me one for free. Hasn't arrived yet, but great customer service response time. The person I emailed with was professional and friendly. The fan REALLY pushes air around. On the highest settings you are moving loose papers and shaking the curtains. I don't think they'd hold up to hitting anything, but they are the same quality as blades I have on a fan 5x the price. While it's not silent, even on the lowest setting, it's not anything that I would notice without someone bringing it up. There's no motor whine or anything, just the sound of the blades. The light doesn't dim, but that's not a big deal. The light is bright enough for a 10'x10' room, but I wouldn't have it as the only light in a living room or anything. I haven't had any of the issues I read about in other reviews, but I'll update this if anything happens. ... show more

The fan works fine but the light has gone off and the customer service is terrible. I am trying to just get details of how yo fix/replace the light but there is no response from the manufacturer. The fan is useless to me without the light working and as I am not able to replace the lights I will have to buy a completely new set ! ... show more

It’s a fan. But i’m not a fan of it. I dislike that when I turn on the wall switch to give it power the light will always turn on but the blades won’t spin on the last setting before I turned the switch off. I have to always keep the remote handy to get it to start circulating air and turn the light off which I’m also not crazy about. Idk what’s going to happen when I finally lose the remote one of these days- I guess that’s when I’ll look for a new one but for now, it’s okay. ... show more
