Put this in my mothers bedroom who is elderly and has a fib if she stands and walks too far. At 73 she was still able to learn the remote control fairly quickly I like the different modes of airflow it creates one that’s almost like being outside. I think this would be really nice to sleep under . It will change it airflow speed and direction in a set pattern that makes it seem like you’re outside! It is not especially strong or durable but if you’re careful with it it hangs on the wall and you’re not likely to hit it. It cost the same as a larger air king I bought at the same time for my kitchen and it blows a stronger focused path of air! I’ve been needing a fan for my wall so I could take up less space in my bedroom. It does as expected. Now because it’s on a wall I get this hollow humming that is really apparent at night, even with thunderstorms playing out of my google home mini that is nearly underneath it. Depending on the speed setting it gets louder. There is nothing I can do about that except insulate it somehow. One rather big (at least for me) annoyance is the electrical hum that comes off it when it’s off and plugged in. It gives off this high pitch hum which seems ridiculous given that my stand fan doesn’t give any off. (At least non that I can hear) Other than that… ... show more

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I'm adding 1 star on previous 3 rating, because after running the oscillation beyond an hour or so, the noise actually faded a lot. It still produces a creak though. I can now tolerate the oscillating to distribute the room's cooler air. Oscillation: Unbearable on any speed. Creaking sound is likely from the fan head being too heavy for its cheap, plastic support base. (Video starts at high speed, then medium, then low). Assembly: Frustrating because the metal clips were hard to adjust, had to be bent & widened to fit onto the metal caging. This is because the cages didn't exactly line up with each other. The bottom left of the back cage is slightly wider (as seen in photo). ... show more

The fan overall works as it should. Nice and simple remote control, good features, large blades push a good amount of air and it's not any louder than a regular fan. The material is very flimsy, uses very thin plastics on the body of the fan motor and thin metal on the front and rear fan guard. Had a hard time getting the fan guard on because the clamps were not flanged out and not well designed. But after some manipulation, I got them to slide on. The biggest problem I have is the smell. Out of the box, there was a very strong odor of what I could only describe as hospital antiseptic, like a super strong fresh bandaid odor. Not the smell you want in a bedroom. I thought it was the packaging, but after installing the fan and running it, the odor emanated out of the motor and it stunk up the whole house. Probably the oil used to grease up the motor. I'm currently running the fan in the garage in the hopes that smell goes away. ... show more

16" inch size is not the actual size it is smaller than the standard 16" size, however, that's not a problem sometimes but the fan wing is too thin that's why it makes noise too much I couldn't sleep head was paining middle of the night , then I turn on my old Lasko fan, which was a stand fan but need to save space that's why I had to throw this good condition fan, then I ordered two Lasko wall fan which is so much more airflow than this simple fan ,Lasko fans size also perfect,this was actual 16"inch fan ... show more

I was looking for a wall-mount fan for my laundry room, since I always get so warm when I'm doing my laundry. I bought this one, and it works great! However, in testing the timer, it doesn't work. I set it for 1/2 hour, and when I went to check an hour later, it was still running, and the timer had changed to more time! I would have expected it to turn off at 1/2 hour, but nope, sure doesn't. Thankfully, I am really not dependent on the timer working to turn the fan off, I am just manually turning it on and off when I enter and leave my laundry room. Because I don't really need to rely on the timer, I did not reach out and try to return or replace this item, because it would have been a hassle to do so. ... show more

so same problem most people have had, the clips dont want to hold it together. But ive returned 2 other fans for WAY WORSE issues to get this one. So i will zip tie the darn thing together. having my husband install the fan tonight. I doubt it'll go badly. we've installed others like this no issue. We actually have 4 other of these fans. 1 had to be oiled it was so loud. 1 other had issues with the tabs as well. but 2 were fine. so 50 / 50 chance getting a great fan , or a good one. better than the air king i got last week that was chewed up on arrival. ... show more
