I bought this for my 1.5 year old twin grandbabies so they could get some experience and muscle development with climbing, balance, and strength. They. LOVE. this thing!! I’ve never heard so many giggles all at once from them both!! It is built solid and a great addition to their environment. We keep it in the house. When used as a teeter totter it will not seat wide-bottomed kids inside; they will have to sit on the highest level. It can take some weight. I weigh 250lbs and, when used as a teeter totter/boat, I can step on the second step down (with one foot on each side of the boat) to make it rock die the kids. We bought this for our young grandkids, mostly to use as a teeter-totter. Works great for that , but surprisingly they use the steps on the back even more! Helps develop their balance. Great purchase!

I bought this as a first birthday gift for my twins and it’s been a lot of fun so far! They’re only mildly interested in rocking in it right now- although I’m hoping they will be later- but they LOVE crawling up and down the stairs, and standing on the top of the steps to reach the window in our playroom. We did use it as a boat for their “camping” themed birthday party, and the kids that came had a blast! When they’re older I plan on standing it on its side as well to use as a counter for pretend play. There are so many possibilities! It feels really sturdy and well made but is still light to lift. I wanted a wooden boat in this style but they’re so much more expensive- this has been a great alternative ... show more
