My wife and I needed a temporary set of dressers while we're in a rental building a house, I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money and after reading the reviews on this I took a chance. I was very surprised at how well this thing ended up being, I have the entire set of two nightstands, 5 & 6 drawer dressers. They're only as good as you assemble, instructions are very light in detail, so you have to check and recheck, just like they used to say measure twice cut once. One of my boxes didn't come with assembly glue, but I used my own. If you go slow you'll end up with a pretty good product. There's plenty of extra hardware in there too to make it stronger if done properly. As I said in the beginning this was supposed to be a temporary set but as well built as they are and as nice looking as they are we may keep them longer.

This has got to be the absolute WORST thing I’ve EVER bought and I mean that wholeheartedly . I’ve had this for almost a year and it has been nothing but problems since it arrived . The box comes with all the parts mixed and in a box . Yup , all the different screws , plastics , all of it mixed and no real instructions for anything . It looks very nice , and the price I got was lovely . But it took well over two hours to put together start to finish because of how incredibly stupid it is that nothings labeled besides some of the wood . But my BIGGEST complaint is that it has broken down in every way possible . The picture I showed is the back of the drawer , I had to cut the wood/plastic off so I could glue all the pieces of the drawer together and then go back and screw that back piece on because obviously the plastic screw did nothing . As a result (prior to me glueing for the upteenth and putting a screw) , the bottom of the drawer will slide back and droop down so it makes it hard to open and close and noisy, the back wood swings all around too because nothings securing it after the wood breaks . Every single drawer has broken (started breaking not even a month after) and I’ve only ever put the typical and light things 🙄 clothes (very little) and one drawer had video games in it for a couple weeks . I would never recommend this , I’m HIGHLY upset because why would anyone want such a piece of shat? Beyond me . And for those wondering why I wouldn’t return it , who’s gonna return a dresser that they had to assemble them selves anyway 🤦🏽♀️ DONT BUY IT , trust meeeeeeee

I had this dresser for about 2 years, through those years it did an amazing job holding together. That was up until i had moved locations. The dresser did not hold very good structure during the move do to it only having wood pegs and wood glue to hold the general construction of it together. I feel as if there was an extra packet of the wood glue it may have survived the move better. (Side note, while moving this dresser it was me and 2 other people. One held onto the center and two at the side. Sadly the structure was just not strong enough. The drawers were all removed for the move as well. Other than this instance though I absolutely loved this dresser. Personally would buy again and would just add my own structural support.

For the price, this is a great dresser. Very well designed, very well built. Good/great instructions, especially if you use the 3d instructions from the QR code. I bought the end table a couple weeks ago and was satisfied with it. The end table could have been a little wider, but for the money, it was great. This is one of the only dressers in this price range that has deep drawers. Everything else on the "inexpensive" list had a depth of 15". Just not deep enough for a "real" dresser. That was the main selling point for me. I was ok with "some assembly required". I'm 73, so not as mobile as I'd like, or as strong. The dresser is pressed wood, very heavy. It came in 2 good sized boxes, very well packed. Even dented corners did't touch the parts. Good design for shipping. Each of the boxes weighed around 75-100 lbs. I was hard pressed to pick them up. But it was not to difficult to slide them to my assembly area (garage). I'm guessing fully put together it's close to 200 lbs. So, it's not going anywhere once you set it down. The instructions say it takes 4-6 hours to put it together. For me, it was more like 4 hours for the drawers and another 4 hours for the dresser frame, then another hour to get the drawers in. To be honest, the instructions are very clear that it's a 2 person job. Every time it says to pick something up or to move something, it says, "don't do this on your own. Ask for help." I didn't, but had I had someone, it would have been much easier. Having had some experience with this type of furniture in the past, I broke out my trusty wood glue and glued together every surface that touched. In my experience, makes it more stable and makes it last much longer. I was excited about this piece, especially at the price, and was going to give it a high review. Except... The drawers hardware limit them to only open ½ way or less! That means you only can see what's in the first half of the drawer. I finally gave up and simply didn't attach the screws that hold the drawers to the sliders so that I could get the drawers to fully open. The problem is that the manufacturer didn't spend the extra $2 to make the 3 part hardware sliders to extend that extra 12". While I understand cheap and generally applaud it, When I get dresser drawers, I really want to be able to fully use them and this makes the drawers on this dresser only about ½ useful. I would have paid an extra $10 to get drawers that opened fully... Still, in this price range, this is probably the best of the bunch.

Looks good in pictures but when I got the Tvilum double dresser it looks less like real wood grain and more smooth artificial. The 360 degree pictures shows a matching back, this is false advertising, the backing is cardboard/board. There is no bottom so I am unable to install the hairpin legs purchased to give height to the dresser. It is smaller than it looks in pictures. Then after unpacking and organizing parts I discovered the top of the dresser had a cracked veneer the entire width across on the underside, the crack came around to the front edge. Poor quality control. I have decided to return the dresser for these reasons. I do not recommend this dresser. Update: 04/15/2021 After speaking to both the manufacturer Tvilum and the Amazon seller OJ Commerce my complaints were swiftly resolved and a refund was provided. Both companies/parties were very professional and courteous. The pictures have been very recently updated to more clearly show the darkest colored dresser, also the 360 degree picture was removed. Thank you to Amazon and Tvilum!

For the price, it's a great dresser. It's smaller than I thought it'd be. It looks very minimalistic. I love the color and the sleekness, but the drawers are very small. It also took over 2 hours to put together. The instructions were easy to follow, especially if you watch the video instructions (have to scan to pull it up on your phone -or maybe it's an app download, don't remember). If you want a nice black dresser on a budget this might be the best option. But if you don't care too much about the color, I think the Ikea Malm dresser might be better because the drawers are bigger. The Ikea Malm dresser just doesn't come in true black. But it's cheaper and takes just as long to put together.

I was skeptical about purchasing this. I’ve purchased other inexpensive drawer cabinets on Amazon and was very disappointed in the quality of the construction. On the other ones, the drawers did not slide in and out very easily and the bottoms fell out. This one; however, is of much better construction quality. The drawers glide in and out with no problems and the bottoms are a much sturdier material with a build that is not likely going to fail. For a bit of whimsy, I lifted it up onto hockey pucks and added LED strip lights to the bottom. It was cheaper than buying a dresser with them pre built-in.

I was looking for an alternative to the IKEA MALM line. I have two of their chests and needed a double dresser. The IKEA one is 63" long but the space I was looking to put it in was 60". I found this one on Amazon. I've ordered from Amazon before and have never been dissatisfied... until now! Just like all the other review, my package arrived torn. I took my chances when I opened it up and although nothing was scratched it was extremely heavy and came with a million pieces. The directions were simple enough although I was confused in a number of steps. Took about 2 hours to build. The particle board is extremely fragile and cracked in a few places. Compared to my IKEA dressers, I do not like how the drawers feel when they pull out; they feel super cheap. Also, they are more shallow then the MALM one. My recommendation: if space permits go with the IKEA MALM. It's the same look for a much cheaper price and better quality. YES THE IKEA ONE IS A MUCH BETTER QUALITY... ALSO A LOT, AND I MEAN A LOT SIMPLER TO ASSEMBLE. I'm only staying with this because I could not find the same style in the dimensions I need, otherwise I would have returned it in a heartbeat.
