This is AMAZING and takes about 2 minutes to install the rod with adhesive and hang a curtain. I used this rod for a double layered, thick, long and heavy curtain and it held up perfectly. I have avoided buying curtain rods for awhile now simply because of having to drill or install them (I’m a single woman and who knows how many holes I’d have to drill before I got it right lol). Luv these, but will use the screws. Easy to put together, quality is also great. Just what I needed. Heat will make them fall off wall, got during winter, so will use screws.

I bought these rods because I'm renting and I thought it would be less hassle than having to add another hole to the ones left by previous tenants. The product description states that the 3M rods can hold up to 16lbs without having to be screwed in. When I installed the rods, I left them on for more than the 24 hours mentioned in the instructions. When I put the rod and curtains in, they stayed up for about 6 hours before I was woken in the middle of the night by them falling. Confused, I weighed the curtains that I hung - basic, light blocking curtains - thinking that they couldn't possible be over 16lbs and they weren't, they were 3lbs together. The box comes with 4 brackets, so I thought maybe I should use them all instead of just 2. Again, I returned from work after adding 2 more to find they had fallen while I was at work. At this point I was resigned to having to screw them in anyway but I quickly gave up on that as the front part of the hook to hold the rod covers the hole for the screw. You'd need a screwdriver that is bent like an allen wrench to get the screw in, which is something that I don't own. I've given up on these being usable to me in any way.

Easy to install. I don’t like the bulk of the bracket but over doesn’t look bad. I used the sticky pads that it came with, since I rent and didn’t want to drill holes into the door. One side has held up but the other side has not. Possibly replacing with commend strips would work better.

This curtains rod is super easy to install and renter friendly. Pay attention to the weight of curtains you intend to put on it though since it does have a weight limit.

Easy install, but these are not telescopic, making it difficult to achieve an even look on some windows. I have a window that bumps up to a wall corner on one side, so the rod can only go so far...and since the rod shortens/lengthens by taking small sections off, the other side over hangs about 6 extra inches. So it looks a little off. I found success with the double-sided sticky pad installation by waiting 2 days before I hung the rod/curtains after installing the brackets. So far so good. I hope I won't need the screws. Update: After 1 week, the rods both fell. The sticky pads do not work for regular curtains. Can't speak to lighter weight sheers.

Product actually DID adhere to wall AND THEN IT DOES NOT! So bummed!! The flexible sizing was also a helpful idea in design to allow for use in another place or sized area. True white color. We originally had a review recommending it and since it FELL OFF THE WALL from ALL 3 PLACES where it WAS ADHERED by 3M holders, NOT GREAT 👎
