The adhesive does not work. I bought two sets and put them in separate rooms and followed the instructions exactly and both have fallen and did damage to the wall in the process. When it fell it also almost hit my daughter in the head, not only a waste of money that has actively caused damage to the walls and almost physical damage to my three year-old.

Overall pretty good quality rods. However, the backing on one of the holders stopped working after only 3.5 months causing the entire rod to fall off. Maybe include some extra backing in the future.

I love these rods, they are so easy to place on the wall and are very sturdy. Gives a great appearance. Nothing to put together the rods are thick enough to hold my curtains and you can not tell that they are not fully metal.

I installed 12 of these in under an hour and I’m not very handy at all. Measuring is very important first because once they are stuck - they are stuck! And will likely remove paint. However as a renter, it’ll cost me less to pay for touch up paint vs. touch up paint PLUS patching. I’m also very clear to follow the instructions to let them get secure for a bit before I put curtains up. But even without curtains, they make my sad renter white walls around my windows look treated - almost a modern or chic farmhouse vibe with the black. Since I have shades I’m now considering no curtains at all but will leave the rods up. I would be smart and remember you bought adhesive curtain rods and use light curtains OR add the additional screw for support. Still easier and better than then regular curtain rods. These are a dream.
