True confession, I’m an ice eater. This unit makes great soft ice for crunching! Today is the first day I have it up & running and it works so well. The only drawback I see is that because I’m running it continuously throughout the day the machine puts out s good bit of warm air making my kitchen warmer than I would like. I’m thinking about moving it to the garage for this reason. My garage is not far at all from my kitchen. Overall it’s a great little machine and I hope it will last for a long while with such continuous use.

Keeps me supplied with the ice I need though it does tend to make a loud noise. Was going to return it but decided to just run it over night and it works for me. If you need one running during the day I would suggest a different one. But it does make alot of nugget ice! Edit, machine has completely broken. Only had 4 months.....what a complete waste

My husband goes through ice when he is home on the weekends, like it's going out of style. Everyone complains because we had to buy extra bags on weekends just so we could get some. But my freezer is too packed now, so I purchased this machine for his use. It's great because when we are outside, he can bring it out on our porch (no more Honey, can you run in and get me another thing of ice?) so when he's doing yard work, I don't get called from whatever I'm doing to run, and he's not running in and out with yard debris on his feet! It makes a good amount of ice and it's not noisy. It does NOT keep the ice frozen....it freezes and drops in the bin. As it melts, it refreezes into cubes. They are hollow, that's why they freeze so quickly, but they do the job they need to do. He loves the machine and was excited to get it as an early birthday gift. (I didn't know he'd been looking at the same one for a few days)

I have had since January. I have had no problems. Makes amazing ice. I love the way the lid is designed. I also like the water level gauge in the front it makes it so easy to fill. Noise level is not bad I have dogs louder than the ice maker. I did a lot of research. My last nugget ice maker was 600 that was also before they began make more and by more companies, this ice maker is perfect for the cost. A lot of people don’t realize it order to keep you ice maker in good working order they need to be clean at least once a month. It is more often if you are in an area with a lot of hard water.

Great purchase, makes really good ice, but the ice melts in your cup fast but it’s good if you like chewing on ice.

This little machine makes ice cubes very quickly however by the time the basket is full the first load of cubes are already melting. Does not have a cube hold function. But it's a nice little unit for something quick if you're not hoping to hold ice in the unit itself for any length of time. Makes ice cubes about the size of green grapes, I make a few baskets of ice and then put into zip lock and freeze and freezer.
