I was surprised at how fast this works. You can choose small or large ice (they're not cubes, more like hollow bullet shaped things). We were working on our house and didn't have an icemaker for awhile. Bought this to fill in the gap and was very impressed. NOTE: you still have to have a freezer to store unused ice after it's done...this is an iceMAKER and does not store the ice afterward. I will still use this by the pool and tailgaiting, etc. after I get my refrigerator back ... show more

Meet expectations. Small countertop for rv living. Makes the ice pretty quickly which i put on a container and place in the freezer for future use. Use filtered water to prevent scale residue and drain excess water when done using. Great so far.

We got this when our fridge ice maker broke as we waited for it to be repaired. The Sears agreement for them to repair broken appliances is terrible as it takes a month or longer to get service, but that’s beside the point. Anyway, it makes ice as fast as it can be used, and is recyclable as melting ice is used to make new cubes. The ice isn’t refeigerator quality solid ice either, but it works great when in a pinch.
