We got the clock, put in a battery and put it on the wall. With in first 2 days it lost a couple of hours. We change the battery and tried again, and in half an hour, it lost 15 minutes. If we hadn’t thrown out the box, we would return it. It’s a pretty clock, but a waste of money. We will contact the seller to see if it can be replaced with one that works. UPDATE: Amazon made the replacement in 2 days. The new clock is working really well. It’s easy to read and doesn’t make any clicking noise. It’s a great clock now that we have a working one. This clock is decent quality for the price, however the reviews that mention that the background has a purple tint to it are true as seen in my picture. For reference, the wall is a light beige color. Also, I would not trust the tiny 'nails' that come with the plastic wall hook. I used a hook from a picture hanging kit instead. I've had this clock for about 2 weeks now and it seems to be keeping accurate time. ... show more
