First impression before I started the assembly was that this chair is heavy, and it is. But more than just being heavy, the components feel more robust with may an exception for the armrests. The arm rests are secure, however, because there are so many adjustments the actual arm rests turn and slide easily than I am used to but I got used to the feel quickly. The assembly was easy with much better instructions and many of the other office chairs that I have assembled over the years. I do like that the included the required tools, I opted to use my impact drill to speed things up a little then I used the T-Wrench to do a final check of each bolt just to be sure they were tight. As I was assembling this chair, the heft of each component was impressive and the craftsmanship was much better than I was expecting (to be honest). Once I got the chair assembled the initial "test drive" was comfortable and easy to operate all of the adjustments. Adjusting the arm rest height was pretty straight forward by lifting to the desired position or pulling all the way to the top to release the catches to return to the bottom setting. The metal arm rest bars are very solid, there is a slight wiggle in the upper plastic part that should be expected with combining metal and plastic components. The seat and back rest are very comfortable with the mesh material providing nice airflow for temperature regulation. I do like that when you lean back in this chair the seat stays in place with only the back reclining unlike a lot of office chairs where the whole seat reclines and pulls your feet off the floor. When leaned back in this chair it feels comfortable and sturdy, no worry about whether the chair is going to topple over backwards. I layed back and lifted my legs up and down to see how stable the balance of the chair was. Turns out it is very stable, the seat never moved until I swung my legs from side to side. The center of gravity remained in the seat no matter whether I was sitting upright or reclined. The head rest adjusted up and down easily then can be ratcheted forward for individual comfort or pulled all the way forward to release the catches allowing the headrest to go all the way back again. Another feature that I like is that there is only one level underneath to make any height adjustments or lock the recliner function. The simple design with only necessary adjustments suits me better, I don't need a ton of adjustments if the chair is already comfortable like this one is. I'm not a huge man, and definitely not skinny either (5'10" and around 200 lbs.) the width and length of the seat fits me very well, especially with the curved edges that forms a cup shape for stability. I have one of the cheap plastic floor pads under my desk and this chair rolls around easily and smoothly on the pad and across the carpet with me sitting in the chair. Overall, I feel like this is a quality chair that is very comfortable and easy to use. At the listed price, I would consider this to be a good value for the quality, comfortable, and convenient operation. I have paid a lot more for cheap feeling chairs, this feels like a solid chair that looks great.

I’ve been using this chair for a few weeks now, and I’m pretty impressed. Right out of the box, it felt solid and well-built; heavier than some other chairs I’ve put together, but in a good way. Assembly was easy with clear instructions and the included tools (though I used my drill to speed it up). Most every piece felt high quality, especially the seat and backrest, which offer great support and airflow with the mesh design. The chair is comfortable and has just the right amount of adjustments without feeling overly complicated. I especially like that when you recline, only the back moves—your seat stays put so your feet stay grounded. It feels very balanced and sturdy whether you’re sitting upright or leaning back. Now, the armrests… that’s where I knocked off a star. They adjust easily, but that can be a double-edged sword. If you grab them to move the chair, they sometimes shift out of place, which means I have to reset them more often than I’d like. It’s not a dealbreaker, just a little annoying. A lock feature would make a big difference.

I'm a short stocky guy. This chair has lots of adjustments to fit people like me, tall skinny people, and anyone in between. I love my new chair. But the most important thing about me is that I have experience building things and some tools. This assembly project is challenging if you're a beginner, and that's probably why we see some complaints in the reviews. My kit included everything, but some things were a little hard to find, for example the hardware was in a box together with the chair mechanism. It's remarkably well packed and many parts are in a large formed paperboard tray that you can remove and set aside. The box can be used as a platform for attaching the back and the arms to the chair seat and mechanism, as is typical with swivel chair assembly. It has swooping arms that are actually wide enough to put your elbows on naturally. Everything is very thick and well built, and you find metal in this chair where you usually find plastic. The parts scream professionalism. It looks like some other chairs for sale on Amazon at a lower price, but it works much differently. Rather than you adjusting the lumbar support, it adjusts to you as you sit down. The headrest adjusts forward and back, and I adjust its height by adjust the height of the back of the chair. The arm rests go up and down and also swivel in and out, so however your arm falls naturally you can have the armrest there, and it's wide enough. The chair has a mesh seat, which is an upgrade feature because that requires a strong frame around it, rather than just bent plywood for a foam seat. The mesh on this one is like other top quality office chairs, comfortable rather than tight and stiff. There are washers and springs in many places in the assembly, professional quality. Go back and tighten and retighten, as the washer may deform a little over a few minutes and then you can tighten some more. I used an impact driver and a T30 bit for the Allen screws. I didn't even notice if they provide the usual Allen key in this kit, but I always use my tools instead. I also greased the screws before assembly. Even the hardware is high quality. I probably didn't have to grease the screws in this case but it's my habit. I needed a mallet to push in a couple of the arms of the base. There's sheet metal around them (so that base will last forever) but the sheet metal is sometimes a precise fit, sometimes a little tight. One specific piece of advice: don't tighten the back to the base (next to last big step) until you attach the arms and screw them down (last big step). The position of the back is determined by what allows the long screws, attaching the arms to go into the base. The step of attaching the arms took a while anyway, and I needed a strong flashlight to see into the blind holes to line things up. There, those are my complaints. I write my reviews so that people will know if it's the product for them. If you have built some things, I think this is the chair for you. It's a steal at the price. I have a namebrand chair that cost much more, that isn't as nice.

This chair was orderedNeeded to toss them. some time ago, but the shipment was postponed a few times, I was offered to cancel if i wanted. I decided to wait it out. I am so very happy that I did. This chair is very comfortable. I did have to assemble it, it wasn’t difficult. The instructions are pretty easy to follow. Be warned the print is small, so if you need readers, have them handy. It came with the tools needed to assemble. It also included a pair of one size fits all work gloves, I wore them for 90% of the assembly. They didn’t have any grip so I eventually had to toss them. Every set of screws and washers came with a spare, so you are safe if you lose one. The adjustability when seated is very easy to operate. If you want to lean back, just lean back. It will hold you well in any position you choose. The back is well balanced. The cushions are very cool and breathable. You will not over heat seated in the chair for hours. All of the cushions are airy. It’s like a mesh. The armrests can adjust vertically and they pivot too. I did have one complaint. Only one. The wheels are the same tired plastic junk that comes on every office chair. I did not even use them. I had purchased an aftermarket set of wheels for a different chair, so I swapped them out. The wheels I added just make it all better. Much quieter too. I would highly recommend this chair to anyone who can afford it.

The Doro C300 Ergonomic Office Chair has a lot of potential, it's comfortable and has a sleek design. However, the manufacturing quality leaves room for improvement. The arm poles don’t sit stable due to stripped bolt holes, making it impossible to use them safely when getting out of the chair. While the chair is functional without the armrests, the exposed piece where they should go sticks out awkwardly. If the assembly quality were more consistent, this could be a great chair, but as it stands, it falls short of expectations.

Yes, this is a great office chair! It's heavy-duty but light, well constructed, and has an amazing number of adjustments. I did take a star off for one thing I've found somewhat annoying as I've used the chair over a few weeks. The armrests can be raised and lowered, and to do so you lift them up and there is a ratchet mechanism that clicks into place for each adjustment. If you want to change the adjustment, you lift the armrest all the way up, releasing the ratchet, which allows the armrest to drop down to the lowest position. What I've found annoying is that I will often have the armrests set the way I want them, only to get up or sit down in the chair, and while doing so, grab one of the armrests to move the chair, changing the position of the armrest. Once I sit down I lift, drop, and reset. This might sound like a trivial issue, but I found it annoying. It would be nice to have a means of locking the setting in place so it can't change. I would add that the chair back is the same way, but is substantial, so using it to move the chair doesn't typically change it's position. Again, it's a great chair and I really like it. It's so much lighter and less "bulky" than my previous chair that was upholstered, too.

I assembled this chair over two days so I'm not sure how long it took, but I think at least a couple hours total. I had difficulty attaching the arms and lining screws up with holes. And I don't mean the machining was off. That was fine. I just needed to loosen a few screws and then assemble in a different order or something. (Can't quite remember, sorry!) Anyway, the chair is very nice. A couple coworkers have tried it as well and we all appreciate the lumbar support, but find the fact that the arms don't lock into place somewhat annoying. I'm fairly used to it now. I now realize that I prefer a cushioned seat, but this one's not bad. I've been plenty comfortable in this chair, no complaints. I very much appreciate the somewhat aggressive lumbar support (which can be adjusted up and down for different body types)--it's exactly what I had hoped for. Just one issue: I personally wish the back could sit slightly more forward. I feel my posture needs to be almost forced into an upright position. My coworkers feel it's upright enough for them, and I think I'm adjusting. The headrest also adjusts, and I thought it might just be an annoyance, but it turns out I like it!

I really like this chair. I didn't find it difficult to put together at all. I put it together sitting on the couch. Holding the pieces in my lap made it easy to support everything while attaching it. The instructions are clear and all of the hardware is separated into it's own section. It's very straightforward. Everything is well made. It's a heavy chair. Heavy duty. I think it's very comfortable. There are many adjustments that can be made. The lumbar support can't be adjusted on it's own but the entire back section of the chair can be raised and lowered. The head rest can be raised and lowered, as well as tilted. The arm rests can be raised and lowered and rotated in and out. The back can be locked in place in 4 different positions, or set to recline freely. And, of course, the chair can be raised and lowered. The raising and lowering everything except the hydraulic lift is done by lifting whichever piece you are adjusting to the maximum level, lowering it to the bottom level, and raising it click by click like a ratchet system. I can sit in it all day and still find it comfortable. I would definitely recommend.
