I've always struggled with back pain and office chairs often make it worse after gaming sessions. This chair has relieved that with great lumbar support and ergonomics. I'm 76. It was a little difficult for me to figure out getting it together. Still don't have the arms on. But, without the arms it is highly usable. The price matches the value. I bought a used Henry Miller Mira II chair for 500.00 and it kills this one. The chair mesh on the Mira II is softer; but strong, so it is a little more comfortable. But new, that chair is about 1200. Seems well made, the lumbar and headrest are good. If I ever ordered another one, I would know exactly what to do. But, as I don't need another chair, not happening. So, if you can put stuff together, take a shot. ... show more

I have nerve damage from spinal inflammation from transverse myelitis and this chair moves with me and I can lean back and prop my feet up. Life saver for preventing spinal fatigue. I was hesitant because of the mesh bottom and not cushion but it’s so supportive and comfortable, much better than my cushioned chairs for sure. I work 45+ hrs per week in this chair. Comfort is subjective, so others may have a different experience, but this is the most uncomfortable desk chair I have ever sat in. While the build quality is high and the materials felt solid, the automatic adjustment features are the chair's downfall. The auto-adjust lumbar mechanism initially feels fine, but after a few minutes, it began to dig into my back and only one of the three lumbar positions felt tolerable. And because the back's vertical position cannot be locked, it's difficult to maintain a comfortable setup. Similarly, the "8D" armrests move too easily--since they don't lock into place, minor bumps require constant readjustment. Assembly was also more involved than expected, taking about an hour and a half. It is the only desk chair I've ever bought where I had to individually assemble each of the 5 legs in the base. They did a good job labeling the steps and pieces, yet the screws/bolts were listed only by the mm length, not the step they are used in, requiring frequent cross-referencing to make sure it's the right item. The box is big and heavy. This chair is also ridiculously over-priced. On a positive note, customer support was responsive when I reached out via their website form. They offered a return, though it required disassembling and repacking the unit. I ultimately decided to keep it a bit longer to see if I could adapt, but ended up donating it to charity instead. ... show more

Comfortable. Durable - none of that cheap thin manufactured "leather" that rips in a few months. Great support and adjustability. Much better than my Lazy Boy, which was very comfortable but unsightly once the cheap leather started tearing and falling apart, leaving chair detritus on the floor. This was rated high when I searched the web, and I wholeheartedly agree. (I'm 65" and 160 pounds ... and there's room for LOTS more of me in this chair.) ... show more
