Comfortable, sturdy, well designed. Easy to assemble, needs 2 people and exercise this caution. As you assemble the legs and then the ring that provides foot support, finger-tighten all the leg screws. Then snug the screws on the legs just a little. Position the foot rest ring and finger tighten 3 of the 4 screws. Then get the 4th screw lined up and attempt to finger tighten. You may need to loosen and shift one or more legs a fraction in order to get the 4th screw to align with the hole. Finally, tighten all the leg and footrest screws. ... show more

I love these barstools. They are sturdy, good quality and look really awesome in our kitchen. Cozy! One good thing to know, is that when you put them together, keep the screws loose on and tighten only after you slide that round metal “foot” piece on. Otherwise you can’t reach the holes with the screws! Took me a second to realize that, I thought the ring was just way too big. Once I figured that out it was smooth sailing from there. I do recommend these chairs, and the price is very reasonable I think. I do have to mention that one of the boxes came a little damaged and upon opening it, it appears to have been open and assembled before. It was the first box I opened and so took pictures but went ahead and assembled it anyway. Upon closer inspection, I saw two small chips. I decided to keep the chair but will reach out to Amazon and see what they recommend. I hate to take it apart to return it so hoping for some middle ground here… we shall see what happens. ... show more

Took off one star because it should not have taken me so much time trying to fix the wobbliness after assembly. As one reviewer noted, I did not tighten the screws yet but even after taking care to do that, it still took a lot of trial and error to the point of getting frustrated. But it is well made, solid and heavy. It is also beautiful! I still have to buy an extra cushion to elevate myself because I’m on the shorter side so the stool height works for hubby but not me. ... show more

Perfect height for my kitchen island. Very easy to assemble and quite sturdy. I like the fact that the foot rest ring around the bottom is metal so the chair doesn’t get scratched/dinged up. Bought two and absolutely love them!

These chairs are made sturdy, they were a bit shorter than the chairs they replaced but the measurements listed are correct. This was my third attempt at replacing the other ones I had which were damaged by my destructive kids and I’m finally content with the sturdiness and quality and will be keeping them! Assembling them was easy, just don’t tighten any of the screws for the base or legs until they’re ALL inserted in their corresponding holes and you’ll be all set! ... show more

Ordered counter height for our island seating area. We previously had custom height ones in these with the leatherette and hated the wear on those. We went with the counter height ones and the fabric option and it’s awesome. If you hate small pieces of plastic stuck on your feet or trash everywhere , go with the fake leather option. Otherwise, fabric is the best choice. They look great. We also added grips that our old ones had to allow them to last longer. ... show more
