  • Long lasting
Size: 255/45R19 104W
These tires came originally with the new model Y lasted 50k. Put the same tires again in Aug 2024. So far happy with the order through Amazon and Mavis installation.

  • One of the "new" tires had a nail hole that was previously patched (improperly).
Size: 255/45R19 104W
These were supposed to be new tires. One day after installation one of the tires was flat. When I returned the car to installer, there was a nail hole (no nail) in the tire and they found it had been previously patched (installer did not notice this during installation). I could not return the tire as my previous tires were disposed, and I needed to drive the car. So I needed to have the damaged tire fixed asap. Trying to at least get a refund on the additional repair required to correctly patch the tire (update) Seller asks for receipts which I sent. Note from seller "Customer satisfaction is our top priority" followed by telling me they would not reimburse the repair costs. Wow....I was prepared to write an update how they addressed the issue and made things right...but no... I've never given a bad review on Amazon before (despite a few missed expectations), but I feel obligated to warn others of this company Giga Tires. ... show more

  • Same tire as the tires that came with my Model Y 2024
Size: 255/45R19 104W
One of these tires got ruptured, and I had to buy a new one. I will update this review later when I get a better sense of the quality. As mentioned, one of the tires that came with the car got damaged in less than three months. Let's see if it's because bad tire quality or randomness.

  • Same tire as the original tires on 2021 Tesla Model Y
Size: 255/45R19 104W
These are the exact same tires that were on my 2021 Tesla Model Y from the factory. They were hard to find elsewhere and the Tesla dealer wanted 30% more for the exact same tires, so I bought them from Amazon. Amazon had the best price out of everywhere I looked online. Shipping from Amazon was fast and easy and then I took them to the Tesla dealer to have them installed. (None of my local tire places inspired confidence when I asked about their experience with installing EV tires...) These tires are a good compromise tire. They aren't the best at anything (snow, rain, dry, tire wear, range), but they are at least good in all of these areas. After a lot of research I decided that increased snow performance of other tire models was not worth the expected 3-8% decrease in range. These tires have the exact same performance and range as the set that came with the car. I got 48,500 miles out of the set from the factory, but the tread was very low in a few places by then and I would not have felt comfortable driving them in snow or very heavy rain at that level of wear. For reasonable snow/rain performance they would probably have needed to be replaced around 40k miles, but the extra 8,500 miles in warm weather worked fine for me. ... show more

Nail in center of tread. Les Swab refused to repair due to foam and glue in tire. Same with Tesla. They both wanted to sell me another tire. $535 @Swab and $435@ Tesla. Costco tire center said I would need four new tires! Because it was all wheel drive. A simple nail resulted in days of trying to find a reasonable repair. Ordered this tire which is an exact match for the 19" model y stock tire. $36 to mount and balance with a fee to throw out a perfect tire! Thank you Amazon 😊. ... show more
