I was a little worried about what the quality would be once we received these stools since the price was so good. We are very pleased with them after assembling them! In fact we are considering ordering another set now that we have entertained with them over the holidays. The stools are sturdy and they are a good weight-- not so heavy that you don't want to drag them around to use in different spots in the room but not so light that they feel cheap. They don't rock on our floor and the seat feels solid as well-- no rocking or movement when you seat yourself on it. The metal feels solid as well, not cheap and thin. It has a nice industrial color to it also-- a nice aged, gunmetal color to it rather than "fresh" and brighter metal color. The wood on the seat has distressing on it which is nice (although it is very uniform in it's distressing which is not necessarily bad, but don't expect it to look like distressing from natural aging or use). We just put down new floors in our basement where we are using these stools, and the pads under the feet are such that I don't worry about them damaging the floors. Sometimes the "protector pads" on furniture don't seem very protective but these do the job on our vinyl plank floors. As far as comfort... the seat is a flat wooden disk with no back. These stools are as comfortable as you can get with those design parameters. I like that the seat is flat with no contouring for human backsides because the stools can be used as side tables for drinks around the pool table where we have them (especially since they are height adjustable). This purchase was a very pleasant surprise. At this price point we just didn't expect to get the quality that we did in these stools! ... show more

My only regret is that I didn’t buy more! I LOVE these Torjin stools! I ordered a pair of them and the matching table. I have posted pictures even though the new room isn’t painted yet! I was truly excited to show you! Assembly is a breeze. I did it myself and it only took a handful of minutes. The stools come well packaged with clear directions and the hardware. Very sturdy! I had no idea the weight limit was 400 pounds! I just learned that today! Stylish! I was going for more of an Industrial look for our new addition. It is great! Actually someone just told me it reminds them of a beer garden! Life goals, I guess! Great for the kids who are learning virtually right now. They can move their legs and wiggle a bit without being confined in a chair. I would love to order one more stool! ... show more

They look wonderfully rustic as pictured. Very easy to assemble. On the bottom of each leg there is an adjustable screw to level the stool. It swivels nicely, and feels like you are sitting on a round piece of wood. Not intending on putting on a cushion, but there isn't a way to tie one on unless you tighten the stool not to swivel. Down side: Bought a total of 4 stools. On one, the iron ring that is attached by 4 screws into the "wood". 3 of the screws were completely out and the holes were stripped and the fourth was very loose. The "wood" shavings in and around the holes look like some type of plastic/composite board. I rotated the ring 2 inches, drilled small pilot holes, and attached the ring to the "wood" seat. The pedestal that is provided to be assembled on this fourth stool, one corner was bent toward the pedestal collumn leaving a 1/4 inch space. These screw holes have metal inserts for the screws to screw into, so I was able to tighten it carefully until it was almost flat. Probably should have returned it, but it comes in a pack of 2. I only NEED 3, and the fourth one is going to be in a corner for extra seating. ... show more

I purchased these stools with the matching bar top and they are amazing! Everything arrived in perfect condition. Not a single dent or scratch. They were super easy to put together and look wonderful. I love that I can adjust the height for the bar and lower it for an added seat at the desk. It looks great here too that I may just buy more! The stool is a VERY disappointing purchase. The seat broke off. There is no way to fix it. The soldered metal that it was made of was not done correctly the top of the seat just broke off. That's not sturdy don't buy it I would not recommend

Both stools I found to be unstable. One stool I was able to screw just okay. While the other stool the screws did not go in easily, and somehow completely sheared off. They product I received was poorly made. It even had a puncture through the top of the stool. I was really disappointed and had to return. ... show more
