7 Month UPDATE: I am still LOVING this chair!!! I’ve had it now for 7 months and everything works well — the phone charger, the USB connection, and the buttons to recline and or adjust the headrest work flawlessly. I had my other knee replaced 2 months after purchasing this chair and not only was I comfortable in it for hours every day but it gave me the confidence to be able to be able to stand up without pain & fear the chair would slip or rock away from me while standing. It also reclines back to a flat position, so I was able to elevate & ice my knee at the proper levels. I find this to be a really comfortable chair and love the storage in the armrests too. I can actually fold up the throw (blanket) that I am using and put it in one of the arm rest storage areas because they are super deep. I HIGHLY recommend buying this chair here on Amazon, you won’t be disappointed in the least with the chair and you’ll be amazed at how fast it will arrive in comparison to buying from the furniture store. I had knee replacement surgery and besides the ice machine I bought, this chair is the 2nd best investment I’ve made for my recovery!! Having the power features and the over all comfort, I couldn’t be happier. I’m on the shorter end at only 5’2” so when I sit all the way back in the seat pan before reclining, my feet don’t touch the floor, but that has helped with therapy for my knee!! Once I recline, it takes pressure off of my spine/tail bone and I’ve even had some really nice naps in the chair!! It’s SO comfortable!! This same chair was on display at a local furniture store when I originally went to check out power lift chairs — thinking that’s what I needed to get me to my feet easier. When I saw this chair and tried it out…I knew it was the one!! The solid arms and seat are at the perfect height for me to be able to use my core and arms/legs to get up comfortably and no knee pain at all!! I then searched Amazon and the same chair was offered for a lot less $$$ AND delivery was within a week vs. the furniture store was adding on $$ for delivery fee and it would’ve been 6-8wks for delivery. I am very happy with this chair.

I ended up buying this recliner for my aunt after she visited my house and rented and raved about the recliner and couch that we purchased through Ashley furniture. Even with my $150 discount I couldn't beat the price of the seller here. Once the gentleman who delivered it got to the door it did come in one single box and my aunt was able to convince them to bring it inside with a little extra tippage. They were very nice and she does have a good couple sets of stairs to go up. The chair is beautiful the lumbar support is well worth it if you have a bad back very easy to operate with the buttons on top although if you have doggies or kitties they will operate it for you and you may come home to find your chair in a reclined position or the headrest up. The quality of leather and other material that they use is very good. I have the gray and it is beautiful and my aunt got the rich burgundy it is gorgeous doesn't look comfortable but once you're in it and recline ...good night !!! I am only 5'4 my husband is 5 ft 8 my aunt is probably 5 ft 9 we all find that the headrest on salivated is way too high I wish that it would just tilt forward not go up and then till other than that you don't really need it to move the recline is perfect for watching television or relaxing

I am 5’ 10” and 72-yrs old, and due to health issues, must make frequent trips to the restroom. I have been looking for a Non-Rocking, Genuine Leather, Powered Recliner, that has both easy-access, and simple to use controls, with possible built-in arm storage.. (I was immediately drawn to the “MAN DEN” Leather Recliner by ASHLEY…) After using the above chair for 10-days, I decided to share my personal opinion of this Recliner, and Please keep in mind that a lot of folks really like it.. (I intentionally gave it a “ONE STAR RATING”, so that people might take the time to read my thoughts, AND also since amazon, for whatever reason, has rejected some of my recent honest reviews!?!?!) While it is “NOT” the most Comfortable Recliner I have ever sat in, it is FAR from the worst, actually being fairly comfortable. Here are the reasons behind my dislikes on this modestly priced Recliner.. 1/ Both Arms, while equipped with very nice, deep storage, leave one thing to be desired. They should be referred to as “ELBOW RESTS”, NOT Arm Rests. (see photos) They are too short in their overall length and should be RAISED a minimum of 3-4 additional inches, and extended forward an additional 8-10 inches…. The “POOR”-Location choice of the arms makes using those nice deep, generous storage areas difficult, unless you happen to be double-jointed, and difficult in finding and using the power control buttons in the dark. 2/ The location of the Power Control Buttons; I think placing them on top of the arms is a much better choice than on the inside or outside of the arm, the ONLY drawback is being the poor choice of the arm lengths, landing the locations of the buttons just beyond your elbow. (See photos) NOT what I would consider the ideal location… 3/ As for those Power Buttons, there are THREE-SETS of TWO-Buttons. First Set; “LEGS”, up or down.. Second Set; “LUMBAR SUPPORT”, out or in.. and the Third Set; “HEADREST”, up or down.. I appreciate the fact that they give you individual control over each area.. until they don’t!!! You set down, elevate your legs until you reach the point that it start laying you back. I wished YOU could decide IF, or WHEN you decide to lay back.. So, after you have positioned you legs, you can either raise your headrest or adjust your lumbar support, or do them at the same time! Here’s what I don’t like; You get everything just like you want it, and have to get up, so you lower your feet, get out of the recliner, only to return, hoping to quickly and effortlessly get back into the exact position you had just previously set, EXCEPT; you now realize that all three settings have retuned to their zero starting position. Point being, there is no good reason that each and every time you get up and return you have to start from square one! What is the reasoning behind this setup, especially since they each have their own dedicated controls? It wouldn’t take a lot to turn this chair into the Perfect Recliner! I just hope amazon doesn’t shoot this review down too - “JUNE 2023 UPDATE” After using this recliner for over a year now, I would also like to add that it is “hands-down” the noisiest recliner I have ever owned.. I intentionally purchased all of the items your suppose to have to preform the proper care and maintenance, which includes leather care/wax… It doesn’t help at all, you simply cannot get up or set down without your neighbors knowing it.. Forget talking on the phone, watching tv, or pretty much any thing that includes another person, especially your wife, without it making its overwhelming annoying sounds…

I can say the chair as advertised except for the wirless charger. The chair did not come with this feature. Very professional delivery service. I went to the local Ashley store and the wireless charger feature for this chair is an extra fee. I purchase the chair from Amazon over the Ashley store because the price . Great chair!!!! If you want a soft sitting chair this is not for you nice and firm.
