I had gone through a couple of duds in looking for chairs for my new dining set up. After having to send back chairs to overstock I saw these and they work perfectly! These are a little shorter and smaller than our previous chairs but they fit with our new table perfectly. The seat is cushioned but sturdy. If you are looking for a super plush seat these are not for you. The seat is not super soft but it is comfortable. Our previous chairs were solid wood and my husband said he likes these a lot more. The color is almost a creamy/grey but beautiful - not a perfect match to our sideboard but still beautiful. ... show more

No directions to put together. Glad it wasn’t too difficult. One chair didn’t line up properly with the wooden dowel glued into the back side of the “seat” where it meets the back rest. Had to cut it off. Bolts still hold seat on just fine. Farmhouse look was perfect!

These chairs are light weight but sturdy. I was able to assemble them myself...once I figured out what to do, I was able to assemble them within 30 minutes. Was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are.
