Tried to add a photo...wasn't able to do that. This lamp is absolutely beautiful, really beautiful. It looks as though it cost double or triple the price I paid. Classy, simple, understated elegance. I just love it! The packaging was great, except for one small dent in the lampshade, which unfortunately it right in the front of the shade. I purchased these as an open box because they were cheaper that way. After opening the box I’m surprised that they were not broken as it looked like they were just thrown in there. But they were almost perfect. Where you screw the bulb in was loose and it can’t be tightened up, so when you put the shade on it’s wobbly but it’s ok I’m going to add a bit of glue it should be ok. Very nice lamp and great value for money. We previously ordered a much more expensive lamp from a fancy lighting store, but liked this one much better in comparison. The price was an added benefit. Goes well with our decor which has both modern and traditional pieces. The lamp looks more silver when it’s off and slate gray when it’s on. Liked it so much we bought a second one. ... show more

And just what I wanted! I think I'm going to switch the shade, as it's rather heavy and doesn't let enough light through, but no problem, I have an extra (don't ask). It goes really well with my earth toned living room, and is tall enough to shed light where I want it.
