QUICK TAKE: I've gotten into the habit of doing a lot of recording while working in the field. Noting different things. One of the use cases has been recording while working on horseback riding training or training horses in general. There's a lot going on in this case. Wind and the elements, different levels of noise coming from the rider and tack, etc. These mics have been an absolute awesome addition to our simple recording as our backup source to the static videos we're running as we have one for the trainer and the rider and the voice recording quality is on-part with the other wireless mics we were previously using. This makes the setup incredibly easy. There's a few things you'll want to know about this particular setup though. The mics use an app on the phone and that's going to be the way you control recording, etc. If you want to use these mics with any other type of recording rig you're going to need to purchase the receiver separately. I can tell you that the mic quality is QUITE GOOD on these through the phone connection so if you're looking for the ultimate versatility I'd imagine that having the receiver on hand would be great as well. So far we haven't had a need for it, but we may end up getting the receiver just to have it available for different live audio setups, etc. The mics batteries last for an extended period of time which is a definite plus and also are IPX4 rated - which is PERFECT for our use case where there's a lot of dust and material working around. Even moisture as we work through different scenarios etc. These mics ARE expensive, but they are a solid investment and truly best-in-class for this type of device. Paired with a receiver I imagine they'd be suitable for higher-end work as well (video shoots, etc). Shure really has updated this line with a fantastic product. THE GOOD STUFF: - Incredible recording quality - Simple setup and use with phone app for recording - IPX4 rated for elements resistance - EXCELLENT battery life - Great connection quality at quite a significant range - Clips on easily THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF: - Need to buy a receiver separately if you want to use with anything other than app - Expensive (but you are paying for a bulletproof quality option) FINAL THOUGHTS: As someone who has used a SIGNIFICANT number of microphones in my video editing / musician career I can tell you Shure is a solid brand that rarely misfires. This mic combo is fantastic and worth the extra bit you'll pay for solid performance that's going to last quite some time. This is a very easy product to recommend.

I purchased the Shure MoveMic Two, and unfortunately, one of the microphones is not functioning. I have been trying to return the product for over a month, but there is no proper return structure in Peru. I have no place to drop it off, and there’s no option for pickup. The customer service has been incredibly disappointing. I've called multiple times, only to have my calls disconnected. This is a serious lack of respect. I was promised follow-ups that never came, and even supervisors ended calls without providing solutions. I feel like I’m losing nearly $500 on a product that doesn’t work, and the denial of access to the complaint book adds to my frustration. This experience has not only been financially draining but also emotionally exhausting. I urge Amazon to address these issues, as it’s unacceptable for customers to feel robbed of their money without support.

These are amazing quality and work great -- as long as you only have a need to use them with the Shure app(s). Or get the receiver -- I don't have the receiver so I can't attest to anything about it other than that other comparable mics such as the DJI, Godox, Hollyland, Sony, Rode, etc. come with the receiver and are in some cases less expensive than this even with the receiver. But the apps -- there is an audio only app and an audio/video app -- are able to bring out the best in these microphones. Note that you can use the apps without these microphones and with the built-in mic in your phone, but there is a huge difference in quality. The app allows you to set various things in the microphones such as the gain and some audio processing options. There is also outstanding noise cancellation, which to me is the best feature of these. When you are inside, it doesn't make a huge difference other than blocking out unwanted fan or A/C noise. But outside it's incredible. It blocks out most wind noise, traffic noise, and even noise of a flowing river (I tested it near the Charles River in Boston). But what I like is it doesn't block out all of the noise like fancy Bose headphones. There is just enough to add nice subtle environmental sounds to your videos to match up with the picture. I wish I could use the mic on Zoom calls or in other apps, and that is the biggest limitation. I may actually invest in the receiver since I like these mics so much. In fact, I'd recommend getting the bundle if you can swing it with the receiver and save $50 (as of this writing) rather than buying both separately. This way you can use these with any camera, your computer, or pretty much anything else. I am giving them 5 stars because if you are aware of the narrow use case going in, they work perfectly. If you buy them expecting all kinds of versatility out of the box, then you may be disappointed.

Shure has always been one of my favorite brands for microphones. When I saw they had the MoveMic Two lavalier mics, I had to try them! Not only do they deliver a superb professional full sound, but the apps the mics connect to offer really intuitive settings that save time and effort. They actually have two apps that will work with these and eliminate any need for a receiver. They both have a Motiv audio and a Motiv video app. The audio settings are easy to dial in the sound you need, and once you pair the mics via bluetooth they pair with the apps instantly. The audio settings are exceptional within the app offering a wide array of fine tuning options that include, compression, noise reduction, gain control, a limiter, and even EQ. These will be my number one lavalier mics when I do any recording via my phone. They have an exceptional build and are small enough to be unobtrusive. They each come with a form fitting windscreen and both charge via a sturdy compact charging case. I haven't found one thing I don't like. The Shure quality truly stands out, and they can even withstand water from rain, spills, and splashes. The battery life is eight hours per mic and have a transmission distance of 100 feet. When I tested the distance, I walked all around my house and not once did I have a disconnect in recording. I did read that they offer and optional receiver if you want to use these with a DSLR camera, and maybe something I pick up in the future. I'm giving these 5 Out of 5 Stars- Thank you Shure!!

Am a little bummed that these mics aren’t plug and play. Wish they could be used over Bluetooth for phone recording outside of the required app and social media recordings. It’s very specific and requires two different apps if you want to capture video while speaking.

I recently purchased the MoveMic two for my daughter's band, and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. The setup process was straightforward, and the microphone was strategically placed to capture the sound of two band members, including my daughter who plays the bass. The microphone picks up the perfectly. The clarity of the sound is exceptional, and it effortlessly captures the nuances of their performance. It's amazing how clear and crisp the audio is, enhancing the overall listening experience. Pairing the microphone with their phones using the app was a breeze for both my daughter and her bandmate. They were able to connect separately without any issues. While the app alone is sufficient, I am considering purchasing another set for the other two band members. Additionally, I may also invest in the receiver as it opens up more possibilities for their performances. The band members love using the MoveMic two and their satisfaction brings me joy. The music sounds absolutely phenomenal, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I highly recommend the MoveMic two to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality microphone solution for their band or musical performances.

These are the airpods pro of lapel mics. The sound quality is amazing, as expected of anything from Shure. The setup was quick, just download the app and click the add mic button. The controls are intuitive, you can easily turn on and off the background noise filter, which works wonders. There is some built-in EQ to help the speaker sound perfect, along with gain adjustment, some simple compressor options, a high-pass filter. Finally, both mics can be recorded at the same time, with a single button in the app, while you optionally listen on your wireless earbuds or headphones. Definitely worth the admittedly high price tag, but this is a brand you can trust.
