UPDATE: *In the year or so since I wrote this review, the legs on the chairs have come loose repeatedly. We do the usual activities at our table (homework, family games, eat) and it's disappointing that the chairs are not holding up as well as I thought they would when I put them together. I'm now in search of new chairs because one leg has been tightened so much, it has cracked. The table itself is still in good condition and has held up well. * We've had this table for a while now, so it's a good time to review. I put this together by myself in just under two hours. That's with kids around to "help." Parts went together well, instructions were easy to understand and nothing was missing. It's held up well to now 4 and 6 year old boys. This is a good table for a small family or if you live in a small place. We keep our table against the wall with the bench underneath and pull it out when we have guests. This allows us to actually entertain without having extra chairs sitting everywhere. Now the next part is NOT the fault of the table, chairs or the company. The unfortunate truth is that if you are someone, like me, who happens to have the wonderful ability to grow blood clots in your legs for no reason, then these chairs will never be comfortable for you. They are padded yes, but that padding is not enough to keep me comfortable and I can't handle sitting at this table for more than 20 minutes at a time.

This dining room set is beautiful! It arrived in new condition and there were no missing parts/pieces. It looks and feels well made, it’s sturdy, and the wood is durable. The color is exactly what I wanted. Best purchase I made.

This table and set is about what you expect for a $400 made in Vietnam table and chair set. The cuts and staining are mediocre, but only have a few blemishes. So I would say the value matches the set. However, there is a hidden cost to ordering this online. When you do your cost analysis, factor in at least two days of you missing work into the final cost. Because this oversized package is dependent on fly by night delivery services to get to you. They do not report accurately what the status of delivery is and they outright lie about making delivery attempts. So just be aware that you will have to call the delivery company to find your kitchen table set. And you will likely spend at least two days waiting around for them to show up. Now this alone would not have been enough for me to give this set 1 stars. The final straw came in the way the chairs are designed. They are very top heavy resulting in them falling over whenever you push the chairs back to stand up. It’s very easy to constantly tip these chairs over. And thanks to this design flaw, the front glass on my kitchen oven was shattered in the first week after installing the them. Additionally, I find the seat covers to be fairly easy to tear having the buttons on my jeans scalp one. And the bench seating is not very sturdy. Despite having locktite on the bolts, I still have to go back through and retighten them occasionally with only my three young boys sitting on it. There’s no way two adults should be using this bench. So my final thought is buy this set only if you’re staging a home for cheap. Don’t buy this if you’re an average family with kids who will be planning on actually using it.

First and foremost the table is nice . Delivery took about a week. Small scratch on the surface of the table which I didn’t even think it was worth a picture . Delivery process is out of the control of Signature Design By Ashley , but total responsibility of the mail carrier . It is a very heavy box which is good because the table has some weight into it , Feels very sturdy and can sit 5-6 people . I’d say it’s worth the price , I don’t know how long it will last , but I do hope at least a year and I’d say I get my moneys worth . Last thing would be to be patient while putting the legs together as you’re going to put 16 legs together and 5 cushions . Instructions are clear and simple to understand took me about an Hour and 30 minutes. ** quick tip - if you have an uneven chair remove the cushion and attempt to sit it flush and tighten back again. I thought they gave me uneven legs on one of them but it was my mistake when building I did not make sure it was leveled and sitting flush .*** Other than that for an affordable table designed by Ashley furniture it’s great 10/10!! I hope my review helps others and if you were to purchase one and have scratched or missing parts remember it’s out of the control of Ashley as this set ships out from Amazon . Everything already comes included in the box . Travel might create a few tears in the box which can end up dumping some parts it all depends on the way it’s handled as it travels . :)

Ordered the Grey but mistakenly received the brown version, decided to take the partial refund and keep the brown. The shiny pleather on the chairs and bench of the brown version are cheaper looking than the grey, but they have grown on me and don’t bother me as much. The table and chairs were all very easy to assemble save for one of the bolts for a table leg which stripped out and I had to replace. The hardware used to assemble are definitely on the softer side and are an area for improvement. The table and chairs themselves are very sturdy and better finished than I expected.
