I am a single woman who recently lost 200 pounds and my old mattress was wrecked, I needed a new one but didn't have a 1000 bucks for a new one. I'd been a loyal Spring Air Customer. So I did my homework and looked at mattresses in my local stores. The mattress you are looking at was the one I chose. For a Full Size it was 599 dollars plus tax from the store. I really didn't have it. I was going to finance it through the store. But, I kept thinking maybe I should check on Amazon first. I thought I might be able to save a few dollars. When I was able to get the very same mattress (no tax) delivered to my home for 190 dollars on the nose, well I clicked and bought it right away. I was scared of a bait and switch or maybe a counterfeit product I will admit. I could not have been more wrong, the mattress was the real thing and delivered to my home in two days. I will also sat it was heavy but I was able to wrestle it in the house and followed the instructions to open it. I was almost send through the wall when it "popped". Be careful, they tell you there is 2 layers of plastic to cut through and there is not. When you cut its going to pop out and start unfurling. So be ready for the expansion. The mattress came to full size almost immediately although I let it alone on the box springs all day and let it rise before putting linens on it. I let a fan blow on it all day but there really was not an odor. I've slept on it every night since 8-9-18 and couldn't be happier. No pain (and I have back troubles and fibromyalgia) and it looks wonderful. I have it on my box springs that are Spring Air and were in fine condition. Its firm but not so much it is painful or anything. I like it so far. I will occasionally come back if my opinion changes. I will be happy if this lasts a few years or longer. I have had this 2 years now and can't tell it has ever been used, a real value. Still a great matress after all this time 3/17/21; Still doing great 4 years later, my granddaughter sleeps over with me and says it's so comfy. Her dad bought the same mattress and loves it. Five years later 7/28/23 still going strong, might get another in the near future in case they would quit carrying them. They have jumped 100 dollars on the price point. I know inflation, so I guess you still can't beat the price. Okay it's now been about 6-7 years and I am ready for a new mattress and I will be buying another one of these mattresses, I am still using my old box springs but the mattress is wearing out now. Yes, I believe sometime this summer or fall I will buy another mattress. This one is still fine and I slept on much worse especially as a child. I had spinal surgery this winter and this mattress was great (no the surgery had nothing to do with the mattress). I was grateful to come home to old faithful and off the plastic wafer called a mattress at the hospital.

I regularly sleep on an Aireloom that costs 15x more than this. We got it for our guest room and I tried it out for a night after setting it up and letting it expand for a few days. I slept well and even took a short nap on it the next day. Hard to complain considering it was a $230 prime deal for a 12” full size mattress. Definitely leagues ahead of the old pure-spring mattress it replaced. Not sure about longevity for nightly sleeping, but considering we don’t have guests too often, this should definitely last us a while. Our Aireloom is “Extra Firm” so this definitely feels a bit softer to me, but still supportive. Definitely has a chemical/plastic odor but it’s dissipating with time. It’s been under a week and it smells less in the room it’s in each day. I will say that it does seem a bit short, however. Maybe an inch or two shorter than the one replaced. All in all, great value to performance ratio, especially if you snag it on sale at over 20% off.

This twin size mattress is way more comfortable than I was expecting! It feels plushy and still firm enough to feel supported. Setup was an easy job for one person-just remove packaging and allow the mattress to rest for 48 hours before use. Although I did notice a chemical type of odor once open, it was gone within the first 48 hours. Great value for a great mattress!

Hello, I believe for the price that this is an excellent quality mattress. Of course it came shipped in a box, awaiting me on the front porch when I got home. I ordered the queen size 12 inch mattress. I brought it in, opened up the box and pulled it out. The mattress was wrapped very tightly and of course had been vacuum sealed for shipping. Once I unrolled the outer wrap and placed it in the bedroom, it was unfolded laying flat now but still sealed. Immediately after opening the plastic around it, the vacuum seal was broken and it fluffed up very quickly. Now this is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. As many other reviews have stated, the mattress only fluffed up to about 10 inches. After the immediate opening it didn't get any bigger except in the first hour of opening. I measured it multiple times over 72 hours and it never grew any further after about the first hour of opening. I left it in the warm bedroom for 72 hours completely untouched and it did not grow any further in size. Now, I was absolutely expecting this after reading other reviews so I'm not upset and am happy with my purchase. But accordingly I had to take a star off due to the product description saying it's a 12 inch mattress when in my and other's experience of doing everything correctly as stated it is only 10 inches. The mattress did fluff up evenly all across, no lumps or random spots where it sagged or anything. It is nice and uniform all around. I've been sleeping on it for almost a week now and as for the quality and comfort of the mattress, I am so far very happy with it. I am a big guy, 6 ft and 350lbs and the mattress is very comfortable to me. I move around a lot in my sleep and sleep on my back, on my side, on my stomach, all around basically. But every position I've slept in has been comfortable. It depresses a bit when laying on it, but not too much and still has a nice fairly firm support under me. My sleep quality has improved and I don't wake up stiff and sore like I did with my previous older mattress. The edges do feel slightly stiffer than the rest when sitting there, I'm not sure if the springs are slightly heavier along the edge to make up for the fact that people often sit on the edge and need a bit more support there. But if you sleep on or near the edge, I don't think you'll find it uncomfortable or notice a difference. It's not like it pushes you down in the middle, it just feels slightly stiffer at first when I sit on the edge. When I get up from anywhere on it, the mattress immediately pops back up as it should. Overall I love the mattress and my little nephew has laid on it too and said he really loves it. Only time will tell how long it will last, but for the price point I am extremely happy and from my experience thus far it is a quality and great mattress. If I could, I'd have given this a 4.5 out of 5 for the product description being off, but Amazon doesn't allow half stars so it's sitting at a 4. If something happens I will come back and update the review accordingly but so far I'm very pleased with my purchase and am looking forward to many comfortable and relaxing nights of sleep on my new mattress. I do highly recommend this if you are looking for a great priced new mattress to replace an old or uncomfortable mattress. Just know that even though you order the 12 inch chances are it's only going to get up to about 10 inches even if you leave it untouched for 72 hours. But yes, I still highly recommend this mattress at this time.
