    • Perfect RDS for the Sig P320
First things first: Amazon's price on the the R1P is the best I have found and it's in stock. Received it on-time, factory seals intact, undamaged. I belong to a SIG on-line forum and I had reviewed a number of posts regarding R1P installation. I think I ended up spending more time on researching how to install the sight than it actually took to do so. Note: I did need to review how to disassemble the slide to remove the sight plate and rear sight. Installation was straightforward, and while the instructions could be expanded, it's not really necessary with on-line resources. The steel shroud comes with the kit, as does a plastic cover. The plastic cover is great for storage and transport, but would easily be lost if you tried to carry the gun with the cover on. There is an eyelet to attach a cord or lanyard to the cover, but it's not a viable alternative. I read numerous posts that recommended the 6moa dot over the 3moa dot for pistols. I think it's a personal preference as well as an understanding of how you're going to use the sight. At the distances I shoot, the 3moa dot is perfect. I do have to adjust the brightness of the dot for the ambient light conditions, but the dot is clear and easy to acquire in the sight. Overall, great sight at a great price. ... show more

    • Big window, great
I like how wide the window is, it makes it very easy to find the dot. The more oval shape is a little bit narrower height than something like the SRO though. The coating makes the glass super clear with minimal reflections. There is zero distortion near the edges of the housing. I notice on the SRO and RMR there is a bit of distortion/lensing effect near the edges. I'm not sure if that means there is more parallax at the edges of the Romeo that affect accuracy when the dot is at the edge? I just keep the dot centered in the window and it seems to work beautifully and stays zeroed. ... show more

I have 4 of these on my various Sig 320 builds. They hold zero and seem to be well constructed. Although I don't abuse my guns, I have put many rounds down range and these Red Dots not malfunctioned. The battery life seems really good. I have yet to replace a battery even after a few years. I would definately purchase more. ... show more

    • Game changer
Install was super easy, I took my slide off to install the optic didn't even need to. Took the screws off the cover screwed the optics on and ready to go. Had It sighted in less than 10 rounds good to go! I started to shoot objects, fast sight pitcher hitting everything. I was shooting in the desert and unfortunately I tripped over some rocks and fell on my right side breaking my brand new holster and I put a ding on the side of Romeo. I thought oh crap probable screwed up my new optic. So I picked It up blew off the dirt put It through It's paces and It still held It's zero. AMAZING all the other features and It's tuff.     • Super quality, accurate, waterproof
This is review of replacement, as the first one was defective. Easy exchange and works great. Easy to install after following YouTube video. I was able to zero it easily. After several hundred rounds, it has stayed zeroed. Excellent red dot, very accurate, and with protective sheath it is very durable. I recently took it to the range and was caught in a downpour... this optic is fully waterproof! ... show more

    • Amazing sight, might come with some coconut oil
The Romeo 1 Pro is an amazing optic. The battery life is supposedly really fantastic, gathered from reading other reviews. The optic came quickly, but the box was covered in what seemed to be coconut oil or some other hair product.
