The headrest is oddly completely useless, it is way too far back, no way a normal human can rest back on it. The rest of the chair is great. I really like the swing up arms. The seat spring is strong enough for a big guy, which is not common.

I have a lumbar spine injury and was looking for an office chair I could comfortably spend 8-10 hours a day in. The chair was easy to assemble by myself. It's comfortable and the adjustable lumbar support is good. I like that I can recline.

When I inserted the lift rod into the bracket the rod was slightly crooked - I immediately tried to remove the rod but could not get it loose. Realize, I've replaced multiple chair lift rods in the past, so I know what I'm doing (it isn't rocket science.) It took well over 2 hours to finally get the rod out of the receiving mechanism. Using a pipe wrench (I have 2 different sizes) they did not rotate the rod - the lift rod did not budge. All the pipe wrench did was chew up the piston rod. I took the mechanism off of the chair and bolted it to wood, so I could get some leverage and not damage the chair's cushion. Continuing to use the pipe wrench, it eventually split the wood and STILL rod would not come out of the mechanism. I used penetrating oil - didn't work, heated it with a propane torch - didn't work, brute strength with a pipe wrench - didn't work - it STILL wouldn't budge. I couldn't believe it wasn't coming loose but I was determined to get it apart. Since the lift rod was already ruined, I decided to cut the rod off and then use a jigsaw to cut through the side of the open rod so I could peel it out. I came to find out the seat mechanism was scored inside, and it had cut itself into the lift rod's metal - there was no way rotating it would have ever allowed it to come out. I had a spare lift rod, so I smoothed out the seat mechanism with a rotary tool and put in the new lift rod - no problems. This literally took almost three hours just to put together a simple chair that should have taken no more than 20 minutes to assemble. Given the poor machining of the parts and all the problems I had, I CANNOT RECOMMEND this chair. ***UPDATE*** Seller reached out and really stepped up to take care of my concerns. Given their response and customer service, the rating has been changed to 4 stars!

This chair an Awesome chair for anyone but especially if you're a bigger person and still want comfort. I'm 375 Lbs and this chair supports me and is built tough. I work from home so I needed a chair that is comfortable, built tough to support me and looks good in my office. The butt and back support is great and the head support is also great! I read the reviews before buying and I'm excited to share tjat reviews were true and also wanted to reassure the next buyer. Putting together the chair was also an easy process. Would highly recommend to everyone and also for a bigger set person looking for comfort!

I picked this up because it said it can support up to 450lbs. This is about 100 extra lbs than I currently weigh. I thought that I would have a decent chair that would provide decent support. The chair rocks around more than I'm used to, which tells me my old chair was more solid. What is really frustrating is that if I lean back, my back has to bow backwards to maintain contact with the chair and it is uncomfortable. Part of why I need a good office chair is so I can lean back and take some of the pressure of my butt and lower back and let all of my back take up some of that weight. Don't even get me started about the headrest as it is completely useless. I get that I'm a bigger guy and that I'm probably pushed forward a bit, so my neck has to bend back uncomfortably to reach the rest. However, I got my 14 year old daughter who is of a very average build to sit in the chair and it was even uncomfortable for her to put her head back. I will also mention that I have the headrest angled forward as far as it will go. I also hate the way the armrests move. This is more of a personal preference I think, but I will put it out here for any that may read it. The arms don't go up and down, they swing up from a pivot point at the back of the chair. This also means that I can't adjust them down far enough so that they never get caught under my desk. I've had it for a few hours and I've already turned in my chair to get up and had the arm of my chair stuck under my desk because the whole chair drops down a little when I'm sitting in it. This becomes a non-issue with arms that adjust up and down instead of swinging. Perhaps this chair would work better for someone smaller than me, but I doubt it. I got swayed by all the positive reviews and I can't help thinking that they have never actually sat in a comfortable office chair before.

Worked fine for first couple months, but the following 2 months showed issues with the tilt function gradually getting worse. Basically support on the right side of the chair has already been worn down - I use it frequently but I'm not anywhere close to the max load of 400 lbs. Now when I tilt back, it lowers on the right side much more than the left and feels like the back of the chair will break off any day now. Do not recommend.

The first chair broke (the wheel broke off of the metal bottom, cracking the casing). It was replaced, then the back of the chair started to bend backwards, so its no longer up right. Flimsy plastic, and the way the base connects to the back isn't as secure. Bought a M102C Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair instead. Youtube the M90D and this one for honest opinions.
