This scooter is nice!!! I had our maintenance man put the battery cables on. So it is charging up now. I got to back it up where I parked the power chair I used to have. It was great. I'm a shortie so the seat is set low, and the tiller angled in just right. I got two mirrors and we put them on the handlebars. Pretty snazzy machine. I can't wait to go riding after church tomorrow. When you put your mirrors on the scooter's handlebars, make sure the clamp holes are facing the ignition. Otherwise the wiggy waggy paddles won't go full throttle. I went to the store and was going as slow as a turtle. As I was halfway there it came to my attention that the way I had placed the mirrors on had hindered me. So when I got there I pulled the mirrors, flipped the clamps, and put the mirrors back on. Tried the speed and woahh!!! Big difference!!! I love this scooter!!! So after this one is paid off I wii get one for my husband. He has a compact one but will get a shoprider sunrunner in blue. ... show more

My mom loves this scooter. I even ride it and I weigh 235#. She only weighs about 95#, so I try to stay off it. Well made, easy to drive and use controls. CAVEAT: Instructions are clearly not for the end user, but are for the dealer, who is supposed to set up your battery connections. I had to figure that out myself. Many folks will need help taking the seat off to get at the battery compartment. But once battery connections are done, it works very well. Recommended. ... show more

Shipping was extremely fast. 4 days to my door Easily fits in my BMW X3 in the box One comment I read before was the battery connectors are unplugged for transport very easy to connect lift seat remove Velcro cover connect wires done One small comment. Very minor. Mirror is low quality handlebar mount Kinda cheap but not a show stopper Paint is very good metallic red. This is for 70 plus yr old lady. And easy for her as the seat adjusts swivels and has a headrest Lots of power. Goes a long way miles and miles without charge Steering has many adjustments to move forward or back depending on arm length needed. Turns better than expected 2 point turn not three ... show more

The scooter was delivered on time and the driver was very professional. Scooter is shipped with the battery disconnected, so you have to get to the battery compartment to connect it. Based on what I read in the reviews I thought A. It would be a bit to assemble it B. The battery hookup would be a challenge. I am happy to report that neither is true. Bought it on a Thursday, it was delivered by the next Wednesday, no problems. Took about 45 minutes to unpack and assemble, most of that was the extensive protective packing. Then it was off to the races. By the way, call your insurance company and see if they will cover all or part of the purchase, my dad's paid 80%! Woo hoo!! Also, the red is very pretty. My dad uses it to run up the hill to the mail box, he is just shy of 200 lbs and the hill is steep, no problems at all!! Good purchase. ... show more

Needs suspension and wider stance for off of sidewalk or paved areas. Would work good indoors. Warranty is weak. So far, so good though.
