I only charge with level 1, and this works well for my needs. This kit is way cheaper than Tesla mobile charger, so it makes sense to get this instead. The 21 feet of cord is more than adequate for my needs. I'm happy with the purchase. Update: While I'm still ok with the purchase, I'd wish it came with a way to use NEMA 14-50. The included NEMA 6-20 is pretty useless as much homes don't have that plug. I do understand this charger is rated for 16A only, so really can't use NEMA 14-50. I guess that's why they came out with an updated version of this charger. ... show more

This charger will live in my car as a backup. I didn’t want to unplug my original charger for trips. The advantage is being able to use outlets in a pinch, even 110. The case zips up, keeping everything in one place in the trunk.

Does the job. I have this permanently mounted outside for a few months now, holding up well. Charges the RAV4 Prime in about 3 - 4 hours on 220V. Much better than the stock charger (or even this one at 110V). Stock charger stays in the car for charging away from home, this one stays home.
