I am a big fan of the solar powered fairy lights in general. It's so nice to not have to plug something in to the wall to get decorative ambient lighting in the yard. These lights have a variety of light pattern options, but also a light sensor to automatically turn them on when it gets dark outside. I really wish that these lights had instructions though. There's a timer and 8 hr button on the back of the solar panel, but I'm not sure what the timer button does (i.e. does it have multiple time intervals? Which interval is first? How many are there?). It's going to take some experimenting to figure out the light timing when the sun goes down. The lights do seem to have a light sensor to turn them on when it gets dark. I pressed the timer button last night and the lights stayed on until the sunrise, so maybe the first press is dusk/dawn or that’s the only setting. All in all, these lights are OK. Some instructions would really go a long ways to helping me out. The lights are pretty bright, but not quite as bright as those with the larger solar panels/batteries that are also out there in the marketplace. My wife loves light and we have them everywhere. I love having solar lights for the electric bill. Win win with these lights. You always have to be careful with strands this long as to not get them tangled when installing. These were better than most. I really liked the upgraded PVC wires. You still have to be careful unwinding not to tangle, but the PVC made it a bit easier than normal. ... show more

This review is for shinar 2 Pack Solar String Lights Outdoor, 200LED/75ft IP67 Waterproof 8 Lighting Modes, Solar Fairy Light, Solar Powered Christmas Lights for Garden Yard, Patio, Wedding, Christmas(warmwhite). These are pretty awesome solar string lights. They’re much lighter and thinner than what I’m used to being single stranded but they felt sturdy. I used them on two of our barberry shrubs to flank the patio. Being green pvc wires, they blended right in with my shrub. I was pretty rough putting them up but they still glowed like magic at night. Amazing! The pictures don’t do them justice because they are so beautiful. I did struggle a little bit to put them on at first because the wires are thin and would tangle easily but once I got the hang of things, it went much smoother with the second set. I think it would make it much easier if the solar panel unit isn’t already attached to the light strand so that we can plug it in afterwards, but the technology may not be ready for that yet. As I was unraveling the wires, the unit would keep twisting so I had to stop periodically to unwind everything but it’s manageable and worth the hassle. These came with 200 LED lights but I could easily use more per shrub because I like a lot of lights. Besides, they’re solar powered so it’s not like I’d pay more in electricity. The batteries are replaceable with another 500mAh type when the time comes. The solar control panel unit is nice and large and waterproof. The only thing I wish they did was to make the Power button a switch instead of a button like the Mode / Timer button. This is so that I can easily find the On/Off switch. I just hate to pull them up to see which button is which. I keep pressing the wrong button (Time/Off) so it would really help. I don't really mess around with the Timer or Mode button that much but there are 8 modes from which to choose and you can set an 8 hour timer (I did not test or really need this feature since it’s solar powered anyway). Overall, I am really happy with these lights and they’ve been running on schedule from dusk to dawn (as far as I know) for a while now. I would definitely recommend these lights and really want to get more of them for my other shrubs. I would give them a 4.8/5.0 - 09/22/2022. ... show more

This little lights are pretty bright in dark, especially for solar lights. I think they will be perfect for my needs come time to decorate for Christmas. They are very long! Longer than I realized and that is a good thing! I plan to line my roof with these and attach the solar panels to the roof in direct sunlight. There’s an on/off button but I don’t plan to turn them off once I put them up, since they will go off in daylight anyway. The media could not be loaded. So as Christmas approaches we need to start getting ready, I came across these on Amazon and decided to buy them. The pack offers two sets and that is enough to get me started. PRO: I particularly love the fact that these are thin and not complicated or bulky. Sure, The cables can be thin and possibly risk damaging if not careful but I appreciate the simplicity of these, the solar charge is awesome, at least in my case, and I find them to be the perfect type of light to work with, and my daughter thinks that decorating walls and simple bush with them is great and since cover enough areas because of how well compact they can be put together or spread out if you would rather without the cables showing all over the place. CONS: N/A TO THE SELLER: Thank you for making this purchase possible, they arrived in perfect condition, the lights work perfectly and they will make a beautiful addition for Christmas. FINAL THOUGHTS: these make an excellent addition in any given moment, whether it is to simply decorate around the house or perhaps to use it in special events or moments such as Christmas which is my particular case.
