I recently got this hose, and I must say it's been quite a useful addition to my gardening tools. Here's my take on it: Flexibility and Stretchiness: 4/5 This hose is undoubtedly unique in its own way. It's incredibly flexible and stretchy, which has its pros and cons. While it's fantastic for easy maneuvering in the garden without causing any harm to my plants, it does have a tendency to stretch and recoil depending on the water pressure. Although it's listed at 50 feet, it's not 50 feet unless you pull on it stretching it out. The hose itself seems to be able to take the pulling without any problem. But you do have to remember you are also pulling on your connections and your water line, and that extra pulling might damage your pipes. This 100ft hose is really nice, has a outter rubber sleeve for protection. When it fills under pressure it expands and the rubber pushes out. Same happens when pressure is released, Hose contracts and goes back into regular state. Has solid brass connections with plastic over the crimps. Time will show the overall quality but so far so good. Hose works like a charm

I wanted something more durable than the cloth type expandable hose and this looked to be perfect. I run LONG lengths of hose, hundreds of feet, to my burn piles on my property and wanted some lighter lengths of hose, this works really well for it! It's durable enough to put to work. I also wanted something like this hose for my RV. Room isn't an issue for me but weight is always a consideration. Having a length of the cloth type hose and now this hose gives me enough length for any situation!!

I use this to 'auto feed' a bird bath in the back yard (via a timer). The hose 'stiffens' up when under pressure, so some times when the water kicks in, the hose jumps out of the bird bath (its brass end sits under a heavy rock in the bath tray). Kind of stretchy weird, but for the most part I like it a lot. It's also quite a bit lighter than my other heavy duty hoses, so I plan on using it for washing the power awning this fall, as the water brush with hose gets very heavy when held over head. The valve at the end is just a valve adaptor on the (normally) threaded end, but still kind of a nice touch (and can be reused elsewhere). I suspect this will not tolerate being frozen overwinter, so will definitely drain and bring inside for winter. A handy, lightweight, springy addition to my gardening collection.

The hose came in a fairly small box which was a bit surprising for a 50 foot hose. Upon reading the fine print the 50 feet is its stretched length overall (which the hose gets bigger or smaller depending on the pressure within the hose). The pros, is that it is very lightweight, and even while filled it is easy to maneuver around in a garden without harming plants. It does not seem to restrict flow even with a slightly smaller hose diameter, guessing due to the stretchy nature of the hose material. The shut-off valve it comes with is great, you can set your sprayer to a certain amount and use the valve to turn on and off the water. The cons, when water is coming out of the hose, it wants to 'shrink' to its smaller size, and while the water is off, the pressure in the hose makes it longer. When the water is turned off and walk the hose to the max length it feels fine, but when you open the valve the hose can tug in your hand and move around the garden a bit so you need to be a little cautious you are not around delicate plants. It certainly works well enough for washing a car and for gardening, and although not quite 50 feet, it is super lightweight and easy to manage.
