I purchased this clock for my shop. I have purchased several clocks over the last couple of years, and they always failed to preform as advertised. Either they were inaccurate or hard to see. So, I decided to purchase one of these 'atomic clocks'. The cost was slightly higher, however the accuracy is unbelievable. It is actually pretty cool. Once I started it up, it did several self-adjustments, and then over night, it did the final adjustment and has been working properly since.     • 12" Atomic Clock is Just the Right Size
We like the clarity, accuracy and neutral appearance of this atomic wall clock with its large black numbers. I would have preferred solid hands for immediate viewing from across the room, but the truth is that now that we've had it for a couple of weeks, we aren't bothered by the "hollow" hands at all. Recommended for those who want a clean appearance. Twelve inches is all you need unless you are placing it thirty feet or more from where you sit. We think the current (circa 2022) "Magnolia" fad for giant wall clocks will go out of style years before we need to replace this unit. I wish they would offer one that used a single "D" sized cell that would run for years without needing to get up on a ladder to change the wimpy "AA" battery. Other than that, it's a perfect wall clock. The "ticking" of the second hand is so minor that it's hard to imagine why it bothers some people, unless they installed it in a recording booth where absolute silence was necessary. ... show more

    • Love not having to adjust for DST
I wanted the atomic clock accuracy and love the auto switch for daylight saving time. The clock face is BOLD and easy to read when light of any sort illuminates it. My preference would be to have a distinction between the min/hour hand which, depending on the angle I'm viewing from, can sometimes get lost in translation. My biggest gripe with this clock is how loud it is. If you truly want a "silent" clock, this one may be an annoyance. So far it has met my needs of not having to ask Alexa for the time, reach for my phone or keep a watch on me but I do feel it could do so just a little bit quieter. ... show more

I find it annoying to set clocks forward and back at daylight savings time. I was amazed when the atomic clock automatically set itself. In addition, it is always the correct time. And when I change the batteries, I do not have to set the time since it is done automatically. Great value for the price ... show more

Had an old atomic wall clock that finally stop working and would just spin and spin. Brought this same but newer atomic wall clock and after putting the battery in and pressing the time zone it only took a few minutes for the clock to spin to the proper time and it’s been accurately since. I immediately inserted a fresh AA battery into my new clock and the internal workings of the clock went right to work setting itself to the correct time of day. There was no struggle to have to twist little screws or dials. My new clock keeps perfect time and is easy to read both day and night.
