I was skeptical at first - no way this little thing is going to jump my car. I bought this because my car battery died and I couldn't afford a new battery. So, I thought just try this little gadget to see if I could buy some time until I could afford a new battery. Welp, it came in, I charged it, and the test came the following day when I had to go to work. Worst case scenario is that if it didn't work I had other cars available to jump it. So, I take it out to the car, connected it, and sat in the driver's seat. Anxiety grew as I put the key in the ignition. If it starts I have plenty of time to get to work. If not, I may be little late (not good). I put the key in the ignition, turned it forward and . . . . started up like it had a new battery. BRAVO!! I thought that's really cool, but what happens when I get to work? Will it crank a second time without charging it again. Well, guess what? It did; and it started the third and fourth time without charging it. I am impressed and when I get the money I'm going to get one for each of my family cars. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Excellent little jumper, I keep it charged and ready to go right behind the back seat, have jump started 3 vehicles already, a jeep, a full size truck and a small car. It's jump is immediately. I'm very very impressed with it. Just to be safe be sure to recharge it after every jump or every 3 months of it being idle.

Got it with 83% charge and it would not go any higher. Next day same thing. Thought I had a bad one. Plugged in the battery clamps to see if that made a difference but no luck. Then I hooked up a volt meter to see the charge and it displayed what ever it was. Plugged the charging cord back in and lo and behold it went to 84 then 85% pretty quickly but stopped charging. It took a few times but I kept plugging the clamps in and doing the volt meter thing and after 30 seconds of just reading the voltage and then charging it the charge indicator would go up a few % till it got to 100. Kind of a pain but it worked. But on the bright side it fired up my riding mower like a champ.

This is probably my favorite tool, I use it quite often. With lots of gas powered garden equipment with discharged batteries as well as older cars and a motorcycle, this jumper is a Godsend. No more jumper cables required. This jump starter works on all my 12v machines. It easily starts my diesel powered small tractor. When I don’t use my equipment for a while, like when we go on extended vacations, batteries lose charge and equipment and cars don’t start. This jumper works like a charm. I rarely use my battery charger anymore. Compact size with a very nice carrying case it is easy to take it on long trips, just in case. Have you ever returned from a vacation and the car you left at the airport parking won’t start? That is when realize how useful this item is. Solid construction with built in flashlight should last a long time. Highly recommended.

Got it as a gift for my daughter and she had a chance to try it not too long ago. She was very happy with it. She was able to jumpstart her VW on fully drained battery after she left the lights on. The jump-starter still had 58% charge left after starting her car so it’s probably good for two jump starts.
