I LOVE this gadget! It makes floor cleaning almost fun. It is sort of self propelled, so very easy to use. It seems to clean well , although if you are a person that really likes the smell of floor cleaner, you won't get that. It cleans only with water & steam. Love that the pads are washable.

I’ve been using the Steam Pickup Mop for a little while now, and overall, I like it—but it took me a few days to figure that out. The biggest win is that my floors no longer feel sticky, which was my main goal. That said, it’s not perfect. For stuck-on messes, you need to go over the spot several times to get it clean. Also, the built-in light is basically useless. I own a Dyson Absolute Detect, and the green light on that is a total game changer—it highlights dirt and residue clearly. In contrast, the mop’s light showed nothing, and I had to bring the vacuum back out just to see what was really left behind. I ended up buying a separate green light attachment, and that made a noticeable difference. One minor downside: the added light makes it harder to get into corners, so I have to adjust the mop more than I’d like. It would be great if the manufacturer included a proper green detection light, especially given the price of the unit. A few more things: it doesn’t polish the floors (which makes sense—it’s a steam mop), and I wish the water tank was larger. Still, I couldn’t find another option that combined the features I needed with lightweight, versatile design. So while I don’t love it, and I do think it’s overpriced, I’ve grown to appreciate it. It gets the job done, and my floors definitely feel cleaner.

I love our new Shark Steam & Scrub Steam Mop. No more chemicals, just vacuum and steam mop the floor. The mop is self propelled and no effort to mop. No more pushing the dirt into the grout. I had a professional come out and power steam the tile floor first and have been using the Shark Steam & Scrub Steam Mop ever since. It is one of the best housekeeping tool I ever purchased for and very comfortable price.

With a house full of animals, my floors have been through a lot. I used to clean with a manual mop and Lysol, but I didn't like the thought of my cats walking on those chemicals. So I switched to a push steam mop. While it was an improvement, it was a real hassle to use and took a full 10 minutes to heat up. The Shark Steam & Scrub has completely solved that problem for me. It's ready to go in about 30 seconds and does all the hard work. The scrubbing power on the highest setting is the first thing that's actually been able to get up the tough, old stains and all the black spots in the crevices. My floors look a lot better, and I feel good knowing I'm only using water to get them clean. After using it, I threw the scrubbing pads in the wash on a water rinse cycle and then let them air dry. They cleaned up perfectly and are ready to go. A few more passes with this mop and I might finally have clean tiles.

I have four cats, and keeping my floors clean is a constant challenge. After trying various cleaning tools, I finally decided to invest in the Shark Steam & Scrub S8201 — and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This steam mop has transformed my cleaning routine. The rotating pads make it effortless to remove dirt and grime from my hardwood and tile floors. The three steam modes - Light, Normal, and Deep allow me to adjust the cleaning intensity based on the mess at hand. The Deep mode, in particular, has been a lifesaver for tackling stubborn stains. One feature I absolutely love is the Steam Blaster. With just a touch of a button, it releases a powerful burst of steam, helping to lift even the most stubborn spots without the need for harsh chemicals. It's been especially useful in areas where my cats tend to track in dirt. The LED headlights are another thoughtful addition. They illuminate hidden debris, ensuring that no spot is overlooked during cleaning. Plus, the mop is lightweight and glides smoothly, making the entire process quick and efficient. Another bonus is the machine washable pads. After each use, I simply toss them in the wash, and they're ready for the next round of cleaning. Decided to buy this to replace a bissell steam mop. This one is a little more heavy duty. It’s still not a very deep clean, but it heats up faster and has the spinning mats. I think this is quicker and does a better job. Despite not requiring a special water, I use the bissell scented mineral free water with this mop and it does well.
