So far, I really like this steam spin mop. I have luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, and since steam isn’t generally recommended for LVP, I only use it occasionally and always on the Light or Normal setting—never High. One thing to be aware of is that even after you turn the mop off, the steam head stays very hot for a while. Be careful not to let it sit in one spot on your LVP flooring after you’ve finished using it. That said, I think it does a great job cleaning. It heats up quickly, is very lightweight, and is easy to maneuver. I also have a very large area to clean, and the water tank seems to last longer than I expected, so I’m not constantly stopping to refill it. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it, especially if you understand the limitations of using a steam mop on LVP flooring and use it accordingly.

I cannot say enough about this thing! it is the finally step to the search for the best steam mop! NO streaking! no chemicals! no engine to hear! Just clean tile floors... SEALED WOOD... not fake parque it will bubble the fake stuff because its HOT STEAM! DO NOT EVER EVER EVER PUT ANY CHEMICAL OR SOAP CLEANER IN THIS THING! IT DOES NOT NEED IT!!! YOU WILL RUIN IT!!! THE HOT STEAM DOES IT ALL! I bough one for my daughter and she is amazing and says the same thing and her whole house is tile. Clean up is so easy, take a little effort but just water, is enough. the trough that catches the dry stuff and wet tuff is great. everything comes apart to clean. NOTE! DO NOT RUN WATER ON THE HEAD ITSELF WHERE THE MOTOR IS ... YOU WILL ruin it AND THEY WILL know IT. REMOVEALBE ROLLER TO CLEAN ETC... CAN'T SAY ENOUGH about this great product.... totally worth the money !! easy to USE and a super long chord so you can do a whole room !

I have been searching and searching for a great mop that I don’t have to repeatedly rinse and wring, rinse and wring. BY GOLLY I FOUND IT!! This is an electric mop you only have to fill with WATER!! Yes, only water! It comes with 2 pads that can be cleaned in the washing machine. I bought a box of 10 extra pads, so I’ve always got plenty. I’ve rewashed them numerous times and they clean fabulously. I don’t put them in the dryer, however. It has several settings low medium and high. I have four small dogs and a white tile floor, so you can imagine how dirty it can get after a rain or snow. This mop is FABULOUS!! If I come across a tough spot, I just spray some Fantastic or 409 on the floor and use the mop with the steamer and ALL GONE!! It’s not like any other cleaner you’ll find. It’s super easy to use and so versatile, it gets all the way against the wall and corners. It has a swivel handle so the mop can go basically anywhere. The only attachments are the pads. They are very easy to put on. The mop is light weight considering the great job it does. I just use a glass measuring cup to put the water in it. Quick and easy. You won’t find yourself scrubbing hard on the floors anymore!!

I’m not completely dissatisfied, but it could use something for improvement. Hard caked on stuff takes a while to clean and get off even with the steam blast. I did find out later on that it has attachments that are more of a scrub pad than the regular pads it came with. I’m going to see how it goes after I order those. Make sure the pad is washed or cleaned before attempting the edges of the wall. It will not get in corners which makes sense because it’s a circular pad but would be cool to have a square one that doesn’t rotate, since it wouldn’t for use in corners or maybe something else added on that would help in the corners. It’s easy to assemble and the perfect weight so you don’t have to carry around that heavy mop bucket everywhere. I also like how you use water rather than something with chemicals in it. You’ll want to wrap the cord to only where you need because it can easily get caught up if not careful. It’s super fast so you’ll want to be careful so it doesn’t get out of control but very easy to use. It has safety mechanisms that turn it off under certain circumstances which is a good thing. I got this for my birthday so I could get my boys’ room back in check after being neglected. It wasn’t the perfect cleaning which I was hoping for considering the price but it still did pretty well. I do prefer it over my mop. For the main area of floor this is great for every day cleaning just not all hard spots we will see how it does with the scrub pad attachments that you buy separately.

I’ve used several different mops and steam mops over the years, and this Shark Steam & Scrub is definitely one of the better ones. What I love most is that the rotating pads actually do the scrubbing for you, so I don’t feel like I’m pushing and scrubbing the floor myself. The Steam Blaster is especially helpful for dried-on spots or areas that need a little extra attention. I also really like having the different steam settings because I don’t necessarily need the strongest setting every time I clean. Another surprisingly useful feature is the headlights. I didn’t think I would care about them, but they make it much easier to see spots and dirt that I would normally miss. The pads are easy to remove and wash, and I love being able to clean my floors with just steam instead of adding another cleaning product. My only small complaint is that the round rotating pads don’t get perfectly into every corner, so I sometimes have to go back over the very edges separately. Other than that, it makes cleaning my hard floors faster and requires much less effort than traditional mopping. Overall, I’m very happy with it and would recommend it, especially if you have a lot of hard flooring in your home.

I thought I should write a review and give my suggestions in getting the most effective cleaning from this amazing steamer. I have read some of the other reviews to give my advice on several things they haven’t been happy about. I’m a professional cleaning lady and have used this particular model for many years. And the absolutely LOVE IT!! I wear them out because I work them hard at least 5 days out of the week cleaning 2 or 3 homes each day. I buy one every few years. They are durable and they don’t make loud noises. The cord length is average but I do put a heavy duty extension cord on mine so I’m not constantly stopping to plug it in another outlet. No issues in doing that. Though it’s not completely necessary to use a spray bottle to mist a little more water onto the regular white pads I do, plus the pledge multiple purpose cleaner that’s in the can. Does help it out tremendously plus it gives a nice fragrance while you’re cleaning the floors. My customers love it and can tell the difference when I do this extra step that takes little extra time. If your tile floors have a smooth shiny surfaces then you may see the swirls of the motion of the pads so I suggest using a flat mop behind an every small section once you steam it. It’s not really a waste of time doing that because it makes your floors more beautiful and cleaner plus flat mop can get areas that the steamer cannot. For the rougher tile surfaces that are more stony you can sloppy mop an area and take the streamer behind it or I buy the shaggy grey pads that can only be purchased at Home Depot. I dip those pads into my spin mop bucket hot water using Zep natural floor cleaner solution (Amazon does have this product normally) I put it in the spinner and use my spin mop to spin the pads out some. It it does the best cleaning your floors have ever had!!! Sounds like a lot of work but this type of cleaning stays nicer long plus you don’t have to do it like this every time but once a month or 2 depending on the traffic in your home but as a professional I do it to give my clients a more excellent cleaning. **Please not do not put shaggy grey pads in the dryer because it seems to ruin the plastic pieces to attach to the steamer. I never have a problem with the machine leaking at all. And it’s portable to take it with you easily. Oh another awesome feature you can buy scrub brushes to attach to your steamer. (Available on Amazon only) It is best to wet a small area at a time with a sloppy mop then scrub away. Then mop back over it and use a flat mop if necessary. Depends on your floor type. I also use this in the big walk in showers to scrub the floors only. Once again spray the cleaners of your choice on the shower floor and use a cup of water to give the machine something more to work with. Generally you usually can do a big reach to the other side without cord touching. USE WITH CAUTION OF COURSE. As I’m aging getting on my hands and knees to scrub bathroom floors is too difficult but why do it if you can use the machine?? Save your hands. If that’s too scary for you to do that use a car washing brush instead.

I'm a previous Shark Steamer owner. It was a flat steam mop not rotary. I had this one maybe 10 years. That one got water temps to about 180 degrees. It worked really well but left streaks. I had tried other steamers that promised to get water temps to 212 degrees which is boiling point for water. They all failed within months. Too small and too hot. So I continued to use my old Shark Steamer with ok results. I prefer the idea of steaming for cleaning vs the chemical solution for other store bought mops. I bought this one in December 2025, just before Christmas because the old steamer died. I am very pleased. The things I like include the following. 1. Bigger water tank. I can steam clean more before taking the time to refill. The old one took 3 fills to do a small clean like the kitchen and bathrooms. Today I did a much more thorough cleaning, rolling up rugs, moving furniture etc. This was a longer clean time. I filled twice. Very happy. 2. I didn't know if I would like the roller pads as never using before. It actually works well. It is so much easier to move the steamer over the floor and I think it cleans better. Also, I don't get the streaking I got with the old machine. I'm very pleased. 3. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. 4. Steam: So the pads are wet with the steam water and you have a button to push for more steam if you need it. Very nice. Needless to say, I get enough steam to clean the floor. Very happy. 5. The prompts ask about scent? I don't know why. I do put a bit of vinegar in the distilled water. My preference. 6. I use distilled water. 7. The pads are easy to snap on and take off once you get the hang of it. Concerns include: 1. The cord is stiff. The cord on my first steamer was very pliable. The cord gets wrapped around the 2 hooks on the handle. The question I have is will this decrease the life of the cord? I have no idea. Perhaps with use it will be more flexible. I could be just being "new". Time will tell. 2. The cord is shorted than the Shark steamer I had before. I have added a short extension set for ease. 3. The pads work well. They also get very dirty, to be expected. I found that I have to take a strong brush to the the pads before putting them in the washer. Otherwise they come out really cruddy. It's a small step. The old steamer mop head got ugly pretty fast. I have 2 sets going right now and doing well. Over all, I am very very pleased with this Shark Steamer and would recommend.

This little steam and pickup mop is great, with one giant caveat...it MUST be cleaned out after EVERY use, but I will come back to that. This Shark Steam Pickup purchase was on the heels of returning my brand new Dyson Pencil Mop...which was awful and twice the price. I love my Dyson Vacuum so I defaulted to the Dyson Mop by mistake. The Shark is the only mop I found with steam, pickup not requiring a vacuum and no suction or tubes that dirt with travel through and become impossible to clean. It has performed above and beyond my expectations and picks up almosy anything from the floor and leaves the floor steam cleaned with no chemicals or anything but water. It's a simple mechanism that's easy to clean and has no complex moving parts and heats up in literally 20 seconds. Now about the cleaning. The unit is very easy to clean BUT you MUST clean after every use because the combination of steam and whatever it picks up in the tray essentially makes the tray a petris dish and the steam like miracle grow. I did a second mop after the first round i m my kitchen; because I had just cleaned out the tray and debris tank on round 1 I just left the mop to clean out the next day. It sat for maybe a day and a half before I got to it...and upon opening the cleaning tray was met with tiny tiny bugs and just a gross growing mess..I clean everything out and put the mop away...and the within 24 hours my apartment had like 40 house flies in it...which initially I blamed on a new plant until I really thought about it and checked the plant...and mopped again with a timed experiment and left the mop for just a few hours...and yes, while nothing was alive in the mop it was definitely way grosser than if I had cleaned it immediately and a place where the steam and moisture would have been perfect for growing lots of things you don't ever want growing inside your appliances or home. So yeah, great steam mop that picks up...but clean it after EVERY or learn the hard way like I did.
