Wow, these jeans are insanely comfortable!!! I'm 5'3", 135 pounds. For me, the Small Petite was a perfect fit and perfect length (long enough to not drag the floor but still looks good with boots). I think I'm considered long-waisted (?). Not totally sure, but the fit will vary with shape as well as height and weight of course. I do have to use the drawstring to make them tight enough after pulling them over my hips. I worry that that string will come out in the wash or something, though I'm tying it carefully beforehand. I would have preferred a slightly different way to cinch the waist, but it definitely works. Just these would be too loose for me without the drawstring. In any case, these are soft and very very comfortable. They also look nice enough to wear going out! But they are very lightweight, so these are only summer jeans unless you're going to layer them over some leggings or something. I just finished ordering another pair in a different color! :) UPDATE: My second pair arrived. They look great, but they're an inch shorter than my first pair! Returning because they don't look right on me at the shorter length. So be aware that sizing may not be consistent! But if you can get a pair that fits, these feel great! SECOND UPDATE: I tried again to order a second pair, but they were again too short and too tight. So I could only get one pair that fit, though I really like that pair. I wish the sizes were consistent as I would have bought more. I did order a pair of their boyfriend jeans, and those are a good fit but a more casual style.

They’ve got no rigid zippers or button-fly so they are less bulky than traditional jeans. The fabric is a thinner gauge denim that has plenty of give to it, so they’ll fit but they won’t feel tight, binding or rigid like regular jeans sometimes do. In spite of being so comfortable, they do not make you appear like you’re dressed the least bit sloppy, dumpy or AT ALL like you’re wearing “mom jeans”— they’re not, they’re just very comfortable. As compared with the original PajamaJeans, the fit is about the same, but the style appears much more relaxed, casual, looks more broken-in and less uniform in color. These PajamaJeans are even softer and more comfortable than the original style! As with the originals though, in my opinion these are also really less “pajamas” than they are “jeans”. They’re super-comfortable jeans, and there’s certainly nothing wrong in wearing them to bed, but in my opinion (based purely on principle and from a cost-based perspective) I do think it’s a bit of a waste to wear these strictly as “pajamas”. Because they are so saturated in color, I did wash them in cold water before wearing (and tumbled dry on med-low, all while turned inside-out) as is recommended… as had happened before, the optional waistline drawstring inevitably got pulled out of the waistband channel in the first washing, but it’s only an issue if they’re super-duper baggy. In spite of making sure it was tied closed first, as there are no belt loops. If you own a bodkin in your sewing kit, however (or if you’ve got a large safety pin and lots of patience handy) you could easily use them to put the cord back (or you could use the preexisting holes to simply thread a strip of elastic into the waistband instead. As I said though, the PajamaJean fabric has plenty of stretch to it, so this step would really only be an issue if 1) your PajamaJeans were significantly oversized and you like wearing them that way or 2) if you buy your PajamaJeans significantly oversized, you like to wear them extra-super baggy, AND you also own a washer/dryer which has a penchant for pulling all your drawstrings out of the waistbands of all your pajama bottoms.

I've been very anxious to try pajama jeans. I finally decided to order them from Amazon and they arrived at today. Pros: Soft and stretchy. Comfy waistband with drawstring. Nice blue with contrast gold stitching desigh on back pockets. No buttons or zippers. Nice bootcut leg openings. Plenty long enough to wear with high heels and the flared hem falls over them perfectly with just a tiny bit of heel and toe peeking out. Can easily and comfortably be worn with pantyhose for the colder months. Easy to care for. Cons: Very high price! Rise is almost too low. Will go with high waisted next time. The fit has a tendancy to draw the buttocks downward and the pocket placement sits too low adding to this effect. Just awkward. Inaccurate sizing. Fit not consistent throughout pants. I'm keeping them but not sure if I'll buy again. I do like that they have a high waisted version of these now.

I bought these back in February, I had a pair before that I had gotten in an "As Seen on TV" section at a store. LOVED them but they were just a tad small, and I ripped the back seam. Lasted for a while though, and I LOVED LOVED LOVED them! Look just like regular jeans and so so comfy. This pair, not nearly as high of quality and about $20 more expensive, but I loved the first pair so much, I went ahead and bought them. They say they are mid rise, definitely not mid rise, came above my belly button, but again, I wanted to love them so much I didn't mind, but HATE high rise pants. How can anyone wear them? They are so uncomfortable to me! Anyway, the big issue is that less than a year later, the inner thigh on these has worn and is now shredded. I wore them 1-2 times per week, so I feel like they should not have worn through that quickly, it has only been 9 months. So disappointed! Part of me wants to buy another pair just because I loved them so much, but I am going to see what other options are out there first. These are so comfy and awesome, just know they will not last very long if your thighs touch...
