Great vaccuum! Highly recommend. It folds up compact and small. Easy to tuck away in a nook, corner or closet. Also very easy to release and empty debris with no picking hair and lint off of a fabric filter. It takes a short while to get the hang of the release buttons, but then it comes instinctively. Great nonadhesive labels on the vacuum to help you in the meanwhile. Though it's a bit top heavy, after a short while you get use to and then no trouble. This vacuum is lightweight and can be easily picked up with one hand. It picks up fine pet hair great, especially with its very bright light that helps you find it. Another great thing is its ease in rolling over hardwoods, tile and rug pieces without having to lift up the vacuum. Rolls over everything with ease in one swoop, quiet and looks great. So far I've used it several times. It makes vacuuming much easier. No more cumbersome cords to deal with and bend at the wall socket. So fast, anytime just flip up the vacuum to an upright and vacuum all over freely wherever you like. Great power and pick up ability. So far, battery is strong. Btw I like the lights on the battery that lets you know its strength and when it's finished charging fully. Still happy I got the model with two batteries. Plus I like the blue color more. Tip.     • This cordless vacuum checks all the boxes, get it, you won't be disappointed
The idea of vacuuming without being tethered to a cord always appealed to me, but most cordless vacuums miss the mark on so many points. Most have weak suction, some with motorized heads are OK for carpet, but use them without the motorized head for picking up crumbs and other debris, limited or no suction. Or maybe you find a cordless vacuum with great suction, with or without the motorized head, but battery dies quickly and has to be recharged before cleaning is done. Worse, eventually the battery will hold less and less of a charge (as do all lithium ion batteries) and you are stuck with worthless vacuum because the battery is non-removable, non user replaceable. The model I bought comes with 2 removable batteries, so easily swap out battery if first one dies during cleaning, 2 batteries should be ample to finish cleaning anything other than the most lavish home. Another issue with most cordless vacuums is the dust bin and filtration system. On many, the filtration system will clog quickly, which greatly diminishes the suction, or emptying the dust bin makes more mess than it cleaned up, etc. This dust bin has a unique design that captures the majority of debris before it reaches the filtration system, so suction is constant, does not drop off. And no dust is introduced back into the environment, all captured by 2 stage HEPA filtration system. The main part of the vacuum can be removed from pole and motorized head to do stairs, furniture, etc. The included upholstery brush did an amazing job of removing massive amounts of cat hair from furniture and beds. The soft roller does a tremendous job of picking up debris from hard floors. The flexible pole allows easy access under areas most vacuums could not reach. I really have nothing bad to say about this vacuum, other than it is not the cheapest! But, I even checked off that box, bought it on a one day deal, $180 off regular price. So, if you can afford to buy it, you will not be disappointed and even at normal price, still a bargain over comparable market leader, you know the name, the same company that makes blade less fans. ... show more

    • Not perfect, but gets the job done!
A little heavier in the hand than I had hoped, and although suction is great, it struggles with some things on wood floors, like dried up play doh bits or a stubborn froot loop in a corner. A little on the loud side as well, the power fins or whatever they're called sound a little strange on solid flooring. On carpet, however I am pleasantly surprised. The full canister tells the story every time. It will indeed handle business on even mid-pile carpet. And even with the weight, it's much easier on the stairs than my standard upright (also a Shark). Battery life is good, approx 30min on the high setting with infrequent booster use. The 2nd battery is a huge plus. Canister easy to empty. Very maneuverable, even with the aforementioned top-heavy weight. No issues with hair catching in the roller, as advertised. I have never owned a Dyson, but I can't imagine another multi-floor vacuum being worth $3-500 more than this one. Happy with my Shark at 299. ... show more

This is the first cordless vacuum I've owned. I did a lot of research before purchasing and settled on this vacuum for the long battery life, large collection container, swivel wand, extra battery and high suction power. The bonus was that it was on sale when we bought it. We've been using it for several months now and my husband is doing most of the vacuuming these days. He never vacuumed before this! It's lightweight, super easy to maneuver and picks up the hair and debris from our dog and three cats! We have all hardwood floors and ceramic tile with two area rugs. I don't usually write reviews and I'm not a big fan of cleaning but this thing is the best thing I've purchased all year. We live where the Asian beetles try to find a new residence in our home in the Fall. The handheld vacuum is so great at just sucking them right up. My husband is a messy dude and I just vacuum up around his chair every day to keep me sane. Why he is always so dirty is beyond me but this vacuum is a god send. I've had it for a couple months and I love the cordless option. I wasn't sure if it would be enough power or I would run out of juice mid-clean, but neither of those things have been a problem. I really love it. The stick vacuum has great maneuverability around everything. I'll probably buy another one for the camper and another for my parents. If you're on the fence, get one. Amber with Bubbles and Buckets was who gave the review that pulled the trigger for me. She's a smart one. ... show more
