I can't say enough good things about this machine. It's powerful and cleans phenomenally. I love Shark products and while I didn't want a full size carpet cleaner - ultimately this was a solid choice to take care of more than just spot cleaning. Assembled easily, works flawlessly, has cleaned all the carpet in my house and lifted the light pet stains with ease. I've had zero issue with it's cleaning ability and I love the options to switch the cleaning feature. No leaking (as I've experienced with previously owned home carpet cleaners) so that is a huge plus for me. While the dirty return tank doesn't have a massive capacity, it hasn't created any issues and is incredibly easy to clean out real quick and return to the job. I love it! The attachment works great, very convenient storing option when not in use. The hand held was a must have! So easy to operate, cleans well, not to wet so it dries quick. Since it is light weight it makes the dirty job all the easier. But tanks are a little small.

Great machine!! Better than the Bissel that I’ve used before. Easy to clean, easy to fill solution tank, easy to empty and clean dirty water tank, easy to remove brush and replace. Over all I think it works better than any other I’ve used. Suction is great and leaves carpet drier than others. Carpet dried within an hour. I got this one after the trigger on the Bissel kept dispensing solution even when trigger was not pulled. I had filled solution tank and placed it on machine and left it while plugging it in and it had dumped the whole container onto the rug. Took a long time to dry the rug. Shark’s suction is stronger and almost dries the rug when done. I just use the suction only to really get it dry. Simple to use, just push forward and it dispenses solution and pull backward to suction up solution. It’s automatic since no trigger is needed. Empting the dirty water tank is easy, you remove the top (float system) and rinse out. Easy to dump if there are suds. Can be toweled out if desired. I tried it on a rug that had been cleaned a week before and not used and it cleaned it better and removed that dirty area that had remained from the Bissel. The only problem is buying the same solution that came with it. Everyplace is “out of stock”. Overall I would highly recommend this machine. ... show more

I have owned a number of carpet cleaners and owned and used this one for 4 months before writing the review. I would definitely recommend this machine, no matter what cost level or system you are considering. Don't waste your money on a spot machine, expensive or cheap machine, just get a machine that is versatile; and this machine is. It is easy to use, but before you do, make sure you read the simple instructions. Tgis will ensure you understand how to use the machine versus the spot cleaner. Benefits of this machine- *spot cleaner-easy to use, does an excellent job and easy clean-up. The brush is rubber rather than bristles. When using this part of the machine, you only have to clean-up the spot unit, rather than the entire system, which is a big plus. Suction is very strong, leaving the carpet only lightly damp, allowing it to dry quickly. *Carpet system-light weight and easy to move. NO TRIGGER TO HOLD FOR SOAP DISPENSING!!!! Excellent suction leaving the carpet lightly damp. Therefore, no need to run fans to dry the carpet. Excellent area run cleaning. I can clean the area rugs, leaving it on the wood floor during cleaning and drying with no concern of soaking the through the rug and impacting the flooring. Cleaning up the system, is easy and you are able to remove all parts to clean up for the next use. The cleaning product has a very pleasant scent and does an excellent job. Downfalls, *the water tanks could be larger, *the initial cleaning solution provided could be larger. *Replacement of cleaning solution is not cheap and the availability is limited. Order some when you buy the machine. *the spot cleaner hose and unit storage is a bit annoying as it falls off often.
