At this point, whenever I see a Shark product arrive at my door, I already have pretty high expectations. They've earned that reputation in my house. From vacuums to beauty products, Shark tends to focus on making things easy to use while still delivering strong performance, and this cordless stick vacuum follows that same pattern. The first thing I noticed was how compact and lightweight it is. I have owned larger vacuums that cleaned well but felt like a workout every time I pulled them out. This one is much easier to maneuver around furniture, under tables, and through tight spaces. It's also surprisingly quiet compared to many vacuums I've used. It still has plenty of suction, but it doesn't sound like a jet engine taking off every time you turn it on. Setup was straightforward, and as always, Shark includes plenty of instructions and labels throughout the product. One thing I genuinely appreciate about Shark is that they seem to design products for real people. You don't have to guess what button does what or spend an hour reading a manual before using it. Performance-wise, I was impressed by how much it picked up, especially on hard floors and area rugs. The LED headlights are one of those features that sounds gimmicky until you use them. Then suddenly you're seeing dust, crumbs, pet hair, and random debris you didn't even know was there. It's both satisfying and slightly horrifying. The self-cleaning brushroll is another standout feature. If you've ever had to sit on the floor cutting hair out of a vacuum brush with scissors, you'll appreciate this. Hair doesn't wrap around nearly as much as it does with traditional brushrolls, which saves a lot of maintenance. I also love that it converts into a handheld vacuum. It makes cleaning stairs, furniture, car seats, and corners much easier without dragging out a second machine. The included tools are actually useful rather than accessories that sit in a closet forever. One feature I really appreciate is the standing storage design. When you're done cleaning, it stores neatly without taking over an entire corner of the room. For homes where storage space matters, that's a huge plus. My one complaint is the power trigger. There is a tab you pull to activate full power, but you have to continue pulling it while using it. I found that a little unconventional and somewhat tiring during longer cleaning sessions. Personally, I would have preferred a pull-on, pull-off system where the setting stays engaged until you change it. It's not a deal breaker, but it's the one design choice I would change. The battery life has been solid for everyday cleaning, and the automatic floor detection works well moving between hard floors and carpet without requiring constant adjustments. The HEPA filtration is also a nice bonus, especially in homes with pets, kids, or allergy concerns. I love my new cordless vacuum so much! It was easy to assemble right out of the box. I didn’t need the instructions to figure out how to put it together as it was pretty much a no brainer. I did read the instructions regarding charging and overall care though. It stated to allow it to charge at least 3 hours before using it, so I did. I have a 1400 square foot first floor and it took me less than 10 minutes to vacuum that entire space. I didn’t have to worry about moving the cord around, or switching modes from hard floor to carpet. It automatically does that for you! It cleaned my hardwood, my tile, and my carpet thoroughly! I was so impressed with how much it picked up from the carpet especially, and do want to note it has a mode that provides extra suction for extra dirty carpets. It also has attachments if needed to clean tight corners or harder to reach spaces. It is so easy to use and makes vacuuming so simple! It is lightweight but it’s not something I’d like to carry around in one hand for long periods of time. Of course the battery adds some weight to it, but it is comfortable pushing around and isn’t at all cumbersome. I used it 3 times before I felt I needed to charge it again. The manual states it gives 40 minutes of run time but I just wanted to make sure it was charged for the next run rather than have it die. But 3 times for me is about 30 minutes so I’d say the 40 minute battery life is probably realistic. The only downside is you can’t store the vacuum with the battery portion attached. It will topple over. You have to purchase a specific holder for it or disassemble the two pieces until you’re ready to use it again. I plan to buy a holder but for now I just disassemble it. This is a great, high performing vacuum that lives up to the Shark name!

This vacuum sucks! (in a good way) I have an older version of this vacuum that I use regularly at work and we've abused the heck out of it and it keeps on going. This updated version is awesome! The battery is removable and charges quickly (though I still haven't managed to fully drain it) it does an excellent job of changing between modes on its own (which is good because you can't do it manually) though it does sometimes mistake rough parts on our hardwood for carpet and likewise I have a couple rugs that are smooth enough apparently that it will switch back to hardwood mode, oh well it's a minor issue for me. The vacuum is lightweight and well balanced, the head swivels really well and the lights are exceptional! normally the light on a vacuum is a joke, or they put a stupid laser on there or something, but this one just has really bright lights that actually do a really good job of lighting the floor. The rollers are easy to service and seem really robust. I have the larger upright canister vacuum too and the rollers on both are really good at not getting wound up with hair, my wife and son have really long hair that just clogs vacuum rollers like crazy, but not this one. The suction is quite good, maybe even slightly too good, because there's a couple rugs I can't vacuum because it will just suck the rug into the rollers and shut it down. I've used a few different stick vacuums and so far these sharks are my favorite, with removable batteries this is a real powerhouse and does an impressive job of cleaning our carpets. I really like the premium feel of this cordless vacuum overall. It has a lot of thoughtful features without being too complicated. It has the different attachments too for whatever project you are trying to tackle. It comes with the rubber roller brush that is tangle free. My wife has long hair and my dog sheds and it still didn't get clogged or tangled up or anything. It really gets the dirt off the carpets and floor well with the rubber roller. It also has the sense technology where it adjusts to the floor type on its own which is very nice. You can hear and feel it kick in as it changes speeds. The extension part is actual metal and feels really nice when you're using it. It feels sturdy and doesn't feel like it is going to fall apart or anything. It has the one button control and then you can also pull the little tab for extra suction. The brush head clicks into place in the upright position for storage and you detach the vacuum part and bring it down to midway point on the extension pole. It has a really nice amount of suction and has cleaned every mess that I have thrown at it. It is slightly heavier for its size but it doesn't bother me really it still moves around well and isn't a chore to use, I just notice the heft sometimes. It holds quite a bit before you have to empty and it has the easy push button to open the compartment. There also are lights on the front so you can see the floor debris better, which sometimes works too well and I realize how messy my house is haha. But it works great overall. You are paying a premium but I feel that the features are worth it. It is up to you to decide the value but for me it is definitely worth it.

Overall, I’m really happy with how this vacuum performs but there are a few design choices I wish were different. The suction power is great, it picks up pet hair really well and the self cleaning brush is a plus because I’m not constantly having to pull tangled hair out of the roller. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver and I really like being able to quickly convert it into a handheld vacuum for smaller areas, furniture, and quick cleanups. For everyday use around the house, it does a very good job. My biggest complaint is the storage and charging setup. I’m not a big fan of having to take the vacuum apart to store it. A wall mount that also charged the vacuum would have made much more sense. It also would have been the perfect place to store the extra attachments because there really is no spot for them on the vacuum itself. I also wish the dirt canister was larger - especially since this is marketed as a pet vacuum. It fills up pretty quickly with pet hair and having to empty it frequently gets a little annoying. However, even with those complaints, the actual performance is excellent. It cleans well, has good power and is convenient to use. With a better storage/charging design and a larger dust cup, this would be close to perfect.

5 stars for convenience alone. This is our first stick vacuum, and I can already say it has completely changed how often we clean. We have a 1,700-square-foot home with luxury vinyl plank flooring, and I find myself grabbing this vacuum almost every day for quick cleanups. Before this, I had a large traditional Hoover-style vacuum that worked well but was such a hassle to pull out that I often put off vacuuming altogether. The Shark cordless stick vacuum is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and incredibly convenient. It picks up everyday dirt, dust, and crumbs (I don’t have pets) well enough that I can go straight to mopping afterward without feeling like I missed anything. The bright blue light is a nice feature as well, to see the dust bunnies under beds. And speaking of under the bed, the stick Shark is super maneuverable and lays flat for reaching under low furniture. Love that! The charging speed is a little slow, but it has never been an issue for me. I have never vacuumed for 40 minutes straight in my life, and the battery has never run out during a cleaning session. The longest I’ve used it at one time is probably around 20 minutes, and it still had plenty of charge left. I wish the stick had little hooks for the attachments for storage. We use a basket in the entry closet for the charger cord and attachments, and it’s fine, but I would prefer to store it all together. It’s a minor preference that doesn’t change our delight with this stick vac. If you’re looking for deep-cleaning power to replace a heavy-duty corded vacuum for every situation, this may not be the perfect fit. But for everyday cleaning and convenience, it has been fantastic. The fact that I actually use it regularly is what makes it such a great purchase. It keeps the floors looking clean with minimal effort, and that’s exactly what I wanted.

I've been using this Shark cordless vacuum for quick daily cleanups, and that's really where it shines. It's lightweight, easy to grab, and does a great job picking up crumbs, pet hair, and the endless trail of debris that seems to follow kids around the house. The automatic floor sensing feature is actually pretty impressive and adjusts well between different surfaces, and I really like the trigger boost function when I need extra suction for a tougher mess. That said, there are a few things that surprised me, especially considering the price. Unlike my corded Shark vacuum, this one doesn't have a convenient charging dock where you can simply grab it and go. Instead, you have to manually plug the charging cord into the vacuum each time, which feels a little outdated for a cordless model in this price range. I also miss the foot pedal release on the vacuum head. On this model, you have to bend down and use your hands to remove it, which is noticeably less convenient than the system on my larger Shark vacuum. I do, however, love how the brush roller come out of the side for quick hair removal! It hasn't actually clogged yet but if it ever does that feature is fantastic. Overall, I think it's a very good supplemental vacuum, but not a replacement for a full-size primary vacuum. It's perfect for quick pickups between deeper cleanings, but I was honestly surprised by the price because it doesn't feel like a luxury vacuum to me. It performs well for what it is, but some of the design choices keep it from feeling as premium as the price tag suggests. I would gladly order it all over again.

This can work well for some people, but the limitations might not make it work for everyone. Things I really like, the portability is wonderful. Being able to quickly grab it and take care of little projects, really works well. I don’t like to clean for long periods of time, so the short time it works before needing charging works for me. I get about 30 minutes. Also I really like how you can see the floor units brush area. Most you can’t see that part which gets very clogged. Let’s talk about the battery - Lithium batteries work really well. You get a full amount of suctions up to the end of the battery charge. That really matters when cleaning and in most things. Also you can remove the battery from the unit completely and charge it in a spot that is most convenient. The reasons for the only 3 stars is I feel that instead of pulling a switch (the extra power) - that should be an option that you can set on and forget. Who wants a vacuum that does not give you full suction power all the time? Having to keep pulling that switch is annoying. I care about suction more than how long the battery will last. Another issue is that after using the unit and recharging the battery. There are 3 lights to indicate it is charging and how full it is. The correct order is the lowest light being on while the second lights blinks and after that light is fully on the third lights starts blinking. Even though the battery does not feel hot when I plug it into recharge it shows the bottom and top lights blinking. That is saying the battery is not quite right and after some time the correct blinking starts happening. The real issue is it takes over 3 hours to recharge the battery. They should use a higher recharge rate so that time is shorter. For the right person, who only likes to clean for short periods of time and does not have large areas to do - this vacuum is perfect. It is very easy to use (except for having to keep pulling the extra a power switch). The fact that it is portable really helps in getting areas that are not easy to reach normally.
